Works - Just like designed and intended

I use this adapter for on my Canon 50mm f/1.4 so I'm able to use my LEE filters foundation kit. Typically I then use a circular polarizer or more recently a 10 stop ND filter. It's machined from a single chunk of aluminum with precision. Never have difficulty getting it on or off. I have three different sized of these things and the only thing LEE needs to change is a way to carry these. Maybe a case or something, but nothing too bulky.

I have three different sized of these things and the only thing LEE needs to change is a way to carry these. Maybe a case or something, but nothing too bulky.

Adaptor rings fit into the lens to accommodate the filter holder. Once the adaptor is in place the filter holder clips firmly to it using a smooth, quick-release, spring-loaded mechanism.

Sturdily constructed with an aluminum screw thread, the adaptors are available in both standard and wide-angle configurations. Special sizes can be made to order.

The adaptors are designed so that the filter is placed as close as possible to the front element of the camera lens, and should be used to prevent vignetting with wide angle lenses.
