CORINNE C : I'm confused if I should get the AR077 or the Wide Angle (WAR077). I use a Canon 6D which is 77mm. Its a wide angle lens lol. Did I answer my own question?RICHARD R : There are two versions as you note. I bought the normal AR077, which is cheaper and easier to machine, for use on normal and wide angle lenses with this filter diameter. Extreme wide angle lenses, in the neighborhood of 20mm (35mm) focal length might vignette, which is why they a wider version is available where the Lee compendium is set back slightly to eliminate vignette. Lee has specs on this. Buy their cheap catalog.
Shopper : Is the Lee Filter 77mm adapter ring compatible with the Nikon 28-300mm lens without vignetting? Can it be returned if there is vignetting for the Wide Angle adapter?ROBERT D : I have a 70-200 that I use the 77mm adapter ring with and do not see any vignetting with, but I don't go as wide as your 28, sorry.BAO D : The adapter work well on my Zuiko 14-35mm lens without vignetting. The lens adapter should be ok with long lens but probably not with wide angle. HTH.TIM C : I Use it with a 24mm and there is no vignetting. So 28mm Will be OK.

I thought this was for a different adaptor.LEVI D : Yes. It threads on to a 67mm lens and you can use 77mm filters in the front.HEYUN S : No. You will screw in the polarized to the lens and then this ring to the polarizer filter for the Lee holder.

Works flawlessly

This adapter ring fits easily into the Lee holder. It can be screwed onto your lens before attaching the filters. This allows you to compose your shot before attaching the filter(s).

Superb Quality

I recently sold my 67mm lens and replaced it with a 77mm lens. Thus, to support my Lee Filter System, I needed a 77mm Lee Adapter. Nothing to add except this adapter, along with the entire Lee Filter System, is of superb quality. I use the Lee 10-stop ND filter and this adapter is necessary to attach to my 77mm lens.

Way better than UWA adapter

Mounting the UWA adapter on a polarizer was an interesting experience to say at best. Got this one and life is soo much easier,not to mention you can mount the lens cap on it directly, I prefer it much more than the UWA

Easy To Use

Is really well machinedand made. Easily screwed onto to the front filter threads of both my wide angle and telephoto flenses. The Lee filter holder quickly and easily snapped ont the adapter ring with a pull and a push of its spring clip holder. Works great.
