Just imagine the efficiency and reliability of the 8x4 X-Y AFV Control Panel, a high-quality product from the reputable brand, Link Electronics. This durable control panel is designed to be used either as a local or remote control unit, offering you flexibility based on your specific needs. When utilized as a remote control panel, it can be paired with the optional cradle assembly, model CR100. This assembly comes equipped with a built-in 115V/230V input power supply and an Ethernet interface, enhancing the functionality of the control panel. The 8x4 X-Y AFV Control Panel is designed for easy installation on a coax-based 10Base2 Ethernet network, which can support up to 32 panels and a total cable length of 300 feet. If you require longer distances or more panels, you can easily expand the panel network to 256 panels using standard Ethernet LAN 'Hub' units. Operating as an X-Y panel is straightforward and user-friendly. You first select the desired destination (output), and once the output is selected, the source (input) buttons will tally. These are then used to select the desired input to that destination. Any outputs that have been 'locked' are conveniently indicated by the output lamp flashing when a locked output is selected. The CP804A and CP804B panels, as illustrated, use a common set of switches for both audio and video (AFV), making them ideal for scenarios where AFV is the normal mode of operation. These 1RU panels can also be used as remote control panels for the router when combined with the optional CR100 cradle assembly. With its sleek and modern design, the 8x4 X-Y AFV Control Panel is not only visually appealing but also easy to use, making it a reliable choice for industries such as broadcasting, post-production, and live events.
