Slightly too small

The case does what the pictures promised and I love keeping things safe and organized but two negatives jump out at me immediately. First the little doors are not firmly attached but the hinges pop out so I absolutely expect to loose them the first time I am working in a field of high grass or on a muddy plane. Secondly in order to make the microphone fit into it's slot and still be able to close the little lid over it it has to be disassembled. You have to detach the clip and the windscreen or the lid will only close reluctantly by applying more pressure than seems healthy for those little, fragile mics with their frail cables. The extra slots are too small to hold more than a single item. Forget about including an additional mini jack to Lectro adaptor or any such item. I wish I could pack a whole bunch of redundant items in there for safety sake. Now I am looking for something very much like this box but about 50% bigger.
