Quality Pro Product

I bought the 0.9 to replace a 0.6 I'd used for years after it was stolen on a photo trip. Both ND filters work(ed) great, held up extremely well to hard/frequent use and did/do exactly what they're supposed to. I would, and have, recommended this filter to a friend and would, and have, bought it again if needed.

Good Quality Filter

I love this filter. Well built. I use this filter 95% of the time for landscaping and seascape shots. It works well with combined with polarized filter during bright morning shot.

Typical Lee excellence!

Used with Lee SW150 filters to enhance shadow/dark rea details. Does exactly what it is supposed to. Great quality, constant effect all across the filter. Honestly have found no lesser points. Love this filter works stacked when needing a intermediate highlight reduction/longer shutter open response.

Best in industry

I use 0,6 and 0,9 filters with all my lenses. Great quality without color shift, but a little bit expensive for piece of glass.

Hard to find item, but Adorama had it!!!

Must have, as well as the other Lee Pro-Glass filters for the landscape photographer

For Intermediate/Advance Photogs

Not for you casual user. But I think all those who are looking at this know what they are in for. Effective. Using filters of this nature does put a major speedbump in your on location shooting workflow. I really have to slow down and compose my images carefully. This is not necessarily a bad thing. Having a need to be uber careful with my gear, I have slowed down considerably to keep tabs on all the individual parts required to use this filter. I find it necessary to use a tripod with the use of this filter.

New from LEE Filters, the ProGlass ND is an extremely high quality glass ND standard filter Optimized for use with digital cameras, but equally useful for film. This brand new filter uses a surface coating made from evaporated metal, and therefore provides very even absorption across the visible spectrum and through the UV and Infra Red regions. Digital SLR users need to use ND standard filters to prolong exposure times in bright conditions for landscape photography, but the excess UV and IR can cause colour problems in some lighting situations.

The ProGlass filter reduces any chance of false colour casts, and also provides a result described as'punchier' on digital and filmbecause the light forming the image is more specific to the requirements of the film or sensor.

Available in 100x100mm, ND 0.6 (2 stops) and 0.9 (3 stops)
