These are simply one of the best available keyboard options today (at reasonable price.) They're not the Cherry (snap-style) switch of the old IBM PC keyboards complete with the dish design for ergonomics, but they're close and the N-key rollover works like its supposed to. I've kept a couple "extras" around for a very long time as I work on my desk PC on a daily basis for most of the day and a good, real wired keyboard is just orders of magnitude better than the wireless stuff. I've yet to find any of the wireless ones I actually like, never mind the N-key rollover problem which in my experience nearly ALL of them have. Add to that a very reasonable price and Lenovo has always had a winner with these. The recent sale gave me a good excuse to add a few more to the stack -- its not like they go bad sitting in my gear closet. I tend to get about a year to a year and a half out of them before, while still fully functional, could benefit from replacement. They just work and here's hoping Lenovo never stops making them; I'll have the serious sads if they do.

This is my second one. First one shipped had some rattles and loose pieces on the number pad side but Lenovo exchange service was a great experience. Shipped a new one and sent me a shipping label to return the defective one. Entire process was easy peasy and done completely via online chat. Replacement unit had none of the faults of the first one.

This is a great value and a solid keyboard. My only complaint is that there are no multimedia keys.

Quality keyboard for reasonable price. Don't need fancy colored lights or gimmicks for work. Built very solid with some weight to it. Ended up buying a second one.

First of all, I'd like to mention that the website description incorrectly says that the type of switch is plunger/membrane but the actual technology is only the membrane dome switch. If you're looking for a traditional membrane keyboard, this would it for you. The quality of keycaps and the sturdy body frame is worth the price. The surface of the key caps feels smooth but still has distinctive texture that prevents the fingers from slipping off when typing. The body is built like a tank. There are no media keys just like an old-school IBM keyboard, which could a minus for some users. The tactility of the keys is average as this is a regular membrane keyboard without any plunger-style keys. You can type lightly as the keys are activated at a low pressure point. The keys definitely feel lighter compared to Thinkpad keyboards in the T14 or X13 series. I took of one star because it is still a regular membrane keyboard you can get anywhere at a low price. I hope this helps.

Gives that old-school mechanical feel without being an expensive, loud mechanical keyboard - not 100% comparable to a full mechanical, obviously, but better key engagement and feedback than most keyboards I've used in a long time. I used to try and get by with an older Apple keyboard even on Windows and when my workplace installed these I had to get one for home as well. Reminds me of the older PS/2 keyboards from the 90s/early 2000s that came with every desktop computer - solid, quiet, and no ridiculous gaming backlighting or RGB options. Built like it will last a while, and hopefully does as my Microsoft keyboard had 5+ keys with worn letters after 2 years.

Bought this keyboard over a year ago and it is exactly what I needed. Durable, reliable, and satisfying to type on. Keep in mind this a wired keyboard, although the wire for it is quite long, which is very convenient. The keyboard also has a fully functioning number pad, a feature that many keyboards lack these days. Overall, a very good choice for a full function wired keyboard.
