Are you in search of a reliable and efficient solution to control and monitor your LINK 800, VSW Series Video and Audio switchers  The LINK PSR-824 Series Remote Control Panel is the perfect tool for you. This 8x1 controller is designed to offer high performance, reliability, and flexibility, making it an essential component in your audio-visual setup.Each PSR-824 remote control panel is equipped with an RS-232 serial port, enabling seamless interfacing with a computer. Communication with the switchers is facilitated via an RS-485 compatible serial link, using an RJ-11 modular jack. This unique combination ensures a reliable link over long distances, exceeding 1000 feet, with the use of inexpensive, readily available cable.The active video and audio channels are conveniently indicated by a pair of seven-segment displays. The front panel of the PSR-824 features a toggle switch that provides audio and video "break-away", enhancing the versatility of your audio-visual operations.The LINK VSW-824 Series of vertical-interval video switchers, which the PSR-824 can control, are designed with sixteen or eight looping video inputs (depending on the model) and two outputs, using true 75 Ohm BNCs. The internal video signal bus can be divided in half upon request, effectively providing two independent 8x1 switchers in one compact box.The PSR-824 Series remote control also boasts "audio break-away" capability, allowing the audio to be switched independently of the video. This feature adds another layer of flexibility to your operations, making it possible to control a video switcher from the front panel of the audio switcher.The LINK 800 Series switchers, controlled by the PSR-824, are housed in a durable one R.U. chassis. Like their video counterparts, the audio switchers can also function in dual 8x1 mode. The Remote Control is designed with a reduced depth, allowing it to be conveniently mounted in a table or desk-top, making it an ideal choice for any professional audio-visual setup.
