With the R400A Digital Hybrid Wireless UHF Diversity Receiver, you can experience advanced, high-tech, and professional-grade audio and video reception. This sophisticated device operates within the frequency block of 24 (614.400-639.900MHz), ensuring a broad range of applications and environments can be catered to.
This innovative receiver is fully compatible with all Lectrosonics 400 Series Digital Hybrid Wireless transmitters, 200 Series and 100 Series analog transmitters, and IFB transmitters. It also works with some analog transmitters from other manufacturers, providing you with a versatile and adaptable solution for your audio and video needs.
The R400A features 256 user-selectable frequencies and proprietary audio processing that includes a digital signal processor (DSP) for minimal distortion and superior signal-to-noise ratio. It also boasts two independent audio outputs, one balanced and one unbalanced, for added flexibility.
The receiver's menu-driven graphic LCD display offers a convenient way to view and alter user settings. It also incorporates Digital Hybrid Wireless Technology, SmartTune auto frequency selection, and SmartDiversity enhanced reception for optimal performance.
The R400A's innovative design combines digital audio with an analog FM radio link to deliver outstanding audio quality and exemplary, noise-free RF performance. Its patented algorithm encodes 24-bit digital audio information into an analog format, which is then transmitted over an analog FM wireless link. The receiver then decodes the signal to restore the original digital audio, resulting in an audio frequency response flat to 20 kHz.
The R400A also features SmartTune, which automatically scans all available frequencies in the receiver's frequency block and tunes the receiver to the frequency with the lowest RF interference. This significantly reduces setup time and ensures clear operating frequencies, even in RF saturated environments.
The receiver's SmartDiversity feature uses microprocessor-controlled antenna phase combining to effectively deal with multipath dropouts. It also employs "opportunistic switching" to analyze and latch the phase in the best position during brief squelch activity.
The R400A also includes SmartSquelch, which dynamically adjusts squelching behavior under varying conditions to deliver acceptable audio quality from otherwise unusable signals. It also features compatibility modes to operate with Lectrosonics 200 Series, 100 Series, and certain non-Lectrosonics transmitters.
The R400A is equipped with a Smart Noise Reduction algorithm, SmartNR, which removes hiss without sacrificing high-frequency response. It also uses a DSP-based Pilot Tone to control the receiver audio muting (squelch), eliminating thumps, pops, and other transients.
The R400A offers both Balanced (XLR) audio output and Unbalanced (1/4-inch jack) Line Out and Monitor output, each controlled by their own digital attenuator. This allows for ultimate flexibility and system monitoring. Experience the innovation and sophistication of the R400A Digital Hybrid Wireless UHF Diversity Receiver today.
