Great rifle scope. The fire
Great rifle scope. The fire dot makes a great difference in low light when you can see the deer, but the center of the reticle is difficult to clearly see, especially with older eyes.

Bought this to put on
Bought this to put on my JM Marlin 336. The scope works great, crystal clear picture, quick acquisition, easy to sight in. I'm able to bullseye a sight in target at 100 yards and can easily shoot a 3 inch grouping at that distance. Paired it with the QR mount and rings and the Alumina flip covers. Would definitely buy again, but if you're looking to shoot past 100 yards you will probably want something with more magnification, but that's asking a lot from a 30-30.

I was have two VX-5HD
I was have two VX-5HD scopes on rifles and when it was time to fit a recent purchase of a varmint rifle I again want a scope that was exceptionally clear and of quality. The VX-3HD did not disappoint. The VX-3HD is just as good of quality both in glass and build as the VX-5 HD's. Then again, it is a Leupold and it doesn't get much better than that.

Customer service nightmare
Customer service was ridiculous.
As a guide i hoped that they would do what they can to help. Not so. Scope was damaged, and they didn't want to keep up with their so called amazing warranty. Very disappointed. Will never buy another thing from this company. On top of that customer service was very rude.

Compact, clear glass, illumination a nice plus. Center dot is a little big for very fine shooting, but is great for fast target acquisition in mixed cover. Accurate adjustments. Looking forward to using this upcoming big game season!

I installed this scope on
I installed this scope on my CZ 452 in a matter of minutes. I had a Nikon scope mounted on the gun with low Leupold mounts. The Leupold went on without any modifications and cleared the CZ rear sight. I have removed the mechanism from the rear sight. The scope shot on paper immediately and took only 20ish rounds to get dialed in at 50 feet. I shot a freehand round of targets with it and was happy to shoot a 285. I will set it up for 100 yards sometime soon, when the weather cooperates. I am pleased with the scope. It's clear, I love the reticle. It's an upgrade from the Nikon.

I put this a Howa
I put this a Howa 6. 5 Grendel for a nice lightweight set up. I mounted it with Leupold mounts/rings.
I love the everything about this optic.
I couldn't be happier! I have never had a bad experience with any Leupold products that I have purchased.

It's what I expect form Leupod. Good glass, nice and clear the lock is a great feature if you plan to dial up. I haven't ordered the custom turret yet but plan to very soon. Thanks Leupold you made my son very happy!!

Excellent purchase, completely satisfied.
I have this on my Ruger American Gen 2. I have only shot it out to 220 yards but the optics were excellent, no CA I could detect, the turrets are rock solid and tactile and I managed multiple sub moa groups at that distance. Two thumbs up

My personal favorite for all style of rifles!
I own 3 of these vx3-hd 2. 5-8 scopes. This is by far my favorite scope off all time. I love how low its able to be mounted, its light, and its great for lower light conditions even with small objective lens. I will be real pissed off if the discontinue this exact scope. Trying to order 2 more lol.

Shipping was fast. Customer service was right to on point, I had an issue with one base mounting screw. A replacement was shipped promptly. Scope has been mounted, working up a load for the rifle. Everything appears to function properly and the glass is exactly what you expect from Leupold! The flip back scope covers are a must have!
