Purchased this scope to put

Purchased this scope to put on my custom Ruger no. 1 chambered in 357 maximum. The scope dial is regulated for 150 grain bullets and I shoot 180 grain speer hot core bullets. Worst case scenario, I would have to get a new dial cut for the different bullet weight. Sighted in at 100 yards then set the dial for 200 and fired a shot at the 200 yard target and it hit center in the bullseye. I'm a happy camper, the scope does the job I wanted.

All of my optics are

All of my optics are Leupold so I knew what to expect. I purchased this one specifically for my 350 legend rifle and I matched my ammo to what was recommended, minimum 2500 fps at the muzzle. Once I sighted it in at 100 yards, I adjusted the turret to 200 yards and shot 3 rounds at 200 yards; 1" moa. The scope isn't comparable to all of my other vx 5hd but it is perfect for that rifle and round.

They did away with adjustable

They did away with adjustable parallax like in the air rifle vx freedom. We have a youth shooting team that is put on via state wildlife. The distances are 50 ft and 75 ft. This can make a big difference when a set objective at 50 yard.

I received the scope in

I received the scope in a timely manner. I installed it on a new Browning rifle. The scope was in perfect condition as expected from Leupold. At 12 magnification the 100 yard target was out of focus and blurry. After dialing it down to 6 power everything was clear again and the sight in period was successfully completed. Operation was smooth and all adjustments were precise. Scope held it's zero throughout multiple shooting cycles. A well made scope.

I purchased this scope for

I purchased this scope for a CVA Cascade chambered in . 350 legend, and it is exactly what I was hoping it would be. The lens quality is extremely impressive, even when compared to the high end optics offered by other manufacturers. The reticle is crisp and clean and the magnification adjusts easily even in bitter cold. The scope holds zero and each turret click is solid without feeling mushy. I haven't had the opportunity to test the CDS dial at varying ranges, but it return to original zero after dialing out to max range and the back. My only complaint would be that the CDS dial doesn't lock or have some kind of a firmer detent. This scope was purchased for a youth rifle and I am concerned that at some point the CDS could be unknowingly turned. All things considered, though, this is truly a solid scope.
