About Link Electronics Video Routing Switcher

Take your video and audio broadcasting to the next level with our 16x16 Analog Video Routing Switcher with Stereo Audio. Engineered for superior performance and designed to meet the demands of the most challenging applications, this routing switcher is a vital component in any modern television facility.

This robust system is composed of two separate 1RU frames. The first frame is dedicated to the 16x16 video router, while the second frame accommodates one or two 16x16 audio cross-point modules. The two frames are interconnected by a 15-wire control cable that can extend up to 25 feet, offering flexibility in setup and installation.

Unlike many other routing switchers, this 16x16 model boasts a modular design with separate plug-in modules for 16x16 video and each channel of 16x16 audio. This design ensures there are no active components in the frame, enhancing its durability and reliability.

The switcher also features plug-in power-supply modules. Each frame comes with two front load slots for power supplies, with one supply as standard and the option for a redundant power supply. True load power monitoring with remote indicators is included for both power supplies, and the video and audio power supplies are identical, simplifying maintenance and replacement.

For enhanced connectivity, this switcher is equipped with a standard computer hardware-based Ethernet 10Base2 single coax connection remote control panel system. Thanks to RJM's unique 'control panel cradle', local control panels can be easily moved to the 10Base2 remote network and vice-versa.

The switcher offers a wide selection of AFV and breakaway types of local and/or remote control panels, and easy-to-use removable 3 position screw connectors for each audio input and output. It also includes a built-in RS232 user serial port with a simple and flexible protocol, and vertical interval switching referenced to an external input.

In summary, our 16x16 Analog Video Routing Switcher with Stereo Audio is a versatile, efficient, and high-quality solution for routing and switching analog video and audio signals in any professional broadcasting environment.
