This advanced switcher features an 8x4 and 8x8 configuration, intelligently auto-sensing HD or SDI video signals to ensure the correct format is delivered on each output. The XL804HD/1A model is a compact solution, offering 8x4 HD asynchronous video in a single 1RU frame, complete with a single power supply. This switcher stands out with its modular design, allowing for easy expansion. It includes separate plug-in modules for 8x4 and 8x8 video, with the option to add 8x4 and 8x8 audio later by simply plugging in the desired audio module. This routing switcher is designed with reliability in mind, featuring plug-in power-supply modules with two front load slots. One supply comes as standard, while the second slot can be used for a redundant power supply option. For added peace of mind, it includes true load power monitoring with remote indicators for both power supplies.The switcher also boasts a standard computer hardware-based Ethernet 10Base2 single coax connection for remote control panel systems. Thanks to Link Electronics' unique 'control panel cradle', model CR100, local control panels can be easily moved to the 10Base2 remote network and vice versa.The 8 x 4 HD/SDI Video and Analog Routing Switcher offers a wide selection of AFV, breakaway, and X-Y local and/or remote control panels. It also includes a built-in RS232 user serial port, with a simple and flexible protocol. Vertical interval switching is referenced to an external input, ensuring precise control over your video production.
