One of the key features of this efficient video routing switcher is its plug-in power-supply modules. It comes with two front load slots for power supplies, with one supply as standard. The second slot can be utilized for a redundant power supply option, ensuring uninterrupted operation. The switcher also includes true load power monitoring with remote indicators for both power supplies, enhancing its reliability.

The INNOVATION XL8x8 series also incorporates a standard computer hardware-based Ethernet 10Base2 single coax connection for remote control panel system. Thanks to Link Electronics' unique 'control panel cradle', model CR100, local control panels can be easily transferred to the 10Base2 remote network and vice versa, making it a user-friendly choice for professional video applications.

This series also offers a wide selection of AFV, breakaway, and X-Y local and/or remote control panels. It also features a built-in RS232 user serial port with a simple and flexible protocol.
