Felt like watching movies in Home theater, worked well with Netflix and YouTube; especially YouTube's watch with online friends feature was awesome! Fantastic Sky Diving, Wildlife and International Space Station 360 experience....more to explore

The user design and experience is amazing. The headset fits well and is very comfortable. The addition of earbuds instead of speakers was the correct decision. The wide field of view is just right and the screen resolution is above pixel detection.

The six degrees of freedom is nice without wires but there is not much else good to say about my experience with the Mirage Solo. To be fair, if the Oculus Go didn't exist... I would give this device an extra star, but for 200 fewer dollars you can get a device that can do almost the same thing. The main problem is the "WorldSense" library is sparse, cartoony, and expensive. The screen looks great, but this thing just doesn't have the horses necessary to deliver an immersive, engaging experience. Aesthetically, it is a relatively bulky device but it's comfort level is acceptable. In addition, there are UI problems... it requires you to add a payment method to even use the device, but when trying to do so... you will be left with nothing but frustration because I could never get the VISA or Paypal dialogs to function correctly. I ended up having to hard reset the device and login with a google account that already had a payment option setup. In the end, the current iteration of this device will have a very hard time establishing itself in the emerging VR world. It's unfortunate, because I had high hopes.

Incredible VR graphics, 6 degrees is the greatest thing since VR started. Innovative and way ahead of the rest.

I've owned the Mirage Solo for about 2 weeks and I firmly believe it is the best mobile standalone virtual reality device available right now and worth every penny. Not only can the Mirage Solo play hundreds of VR apps available on Google's daydream store, it can also play movies, YouTube videos, Android apps, and even stream your PC Steam games and project them to make you feel like you're watching/playing inside a movie theater. The Mirage Solo is one of two standalone VR devices that currently offer positional tracking and the only one that partnered with Google for their WorldSense technology When you can move your head up, down, left, right, forward, and back the level of immersion increases tremendously. I originally bought this device for my office to view architecture, but I loved it so much I bought another one for personal use. There must be huge demand for this device because I ordered my 2nd Mirage Solo on May 18th, 2018 and the estimated ship date is July 2nd, 2018! Well worth the wait, but I hope they can deliver to me sooner.

Free to explore
Meet Mirage Solo: The world's first standalone Daydream VR Headset. Experience immersive virtual reality without a separate PC or smartphone. Deploy Google's powerful WorldSense technology to lean, dodge, duck, move, avoid obstacles and move naturally through an ever-growing library of virtual worlds. The future of VR has arrived.
Standalone. No strings attached
The first to offer true, unfettered freedom through standalone virtual reality, Mirage Solo delivers the same immersive capabilities as PC-powered virtual reality experiences, with none of the baggage. Slide the headset on and get ready to experience the virtual world. No wires, no extra sensors, no extra cost or complexity.
Move naturally
Lean and duck to navigate your way through tight spaces; jump to traverse pitfalls and dodge to avoid incoming projectiles. Objects and landscapes stay fixed in place no matter where you tilt or move your head. WorldSense allows 6 degrees of freedom [6dof], a new technology by Google that understands your movement in space without the need to set-up any external sensors. The Lenovo Mirage Solo delivers superior comfort and new capabilities to move in virtual reality (VR). You're free to explore new worlds with natural movement through PC-quality positional tracking, two inside-out tracking cameras and built-in proximity sensors to detect the position of nearby objects and measure depth.
Discover a whole new way to Daydream
With Mirage Solo, not only do you have access to over 250 Daydream apps, you'll unlock the potential of apps powered by WorldSense tracking. From gaming to VR travel to live events, there are now countless worlds to explore.
Designed to disappear
A device shouldn't get in the way of experiencing virtual reality. The Mirage Solo was ergonomically designed so you can comfortably stay immersed in that virtual world for long periods of time (thanks in part to its 2.5-hour battery life). The Mirage Solo is light, adjustable and fine-tuned for comfort and balanced load distribution - eliminating friction and strain against the bridge of your nose. The headset is precisely adjustable, so you can find the perfect fit.
Broaden your horizons. And your sight lines
The Mirage Solo increases the angle of your line of sight with a 110-degree field of view, one of the widest in its category. Now, you can see more than ever on the headset's ultrahigh-resolution display, which features Lenovo advanced display technology, a revolutionary, VR-optimized LCD display that renders exceptional clarity designed exclusively for Daydream.
A powerful engine, built for seamless, free-roam virtual reality
The Mirage Solo equips you to get the most out of Daydream's virtual reality experiences. The headset is powered by the advanced Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 VR platform and 4GB of RAM. This powerful engine pushes your experience to its full potential, whether you're dodging enemy attacks in effortless real time or wandering through an ancient forest temple steeped in lore and mystery.
View and share your own VR content
Combine the Mirage Solo with the Mirage Camera with Daydream (sold separately) and you can seamlessly experience and create your own immersive virtual reality content. This VR180 camera makes it simple to wirelessly upload your creations to Google Photos and YouTube and share with friends and family.
