Lenovo Smart Display 10.1" IPS WUXGA Display with Google Assistant and Integrated Speaker, 1920x1200, White and Bamboo

I bought a Lenovo Legion from the official Lenovo website. After I ordered it the and had already paid for it on my part, as money had already been deducted from my account. I have a order number as well that I could access on my account on Lenovo. Two weeks after the payment I went back to check on my account to see if it was arriving anytime soon, but then I saw they had deleted my order. When I then call them up they say I never made a payment and made me sound like someone who was trying to rip them off. After that I contact my bank and they tell me that yes money has been deducted from my account to Lenovo, so I then have to call up the Lenovo staff again and keep the phone on speaker, so that the representative from the bank could speak to them. After this issue was solved Lenovo then proceeded to prepare my product, but the entire process had to start over and I had to wait a month, since I added specs to my Legion. Now that I have got and I am pretty happy but there are issues with the camera so I had to turn it off. Graphics are great though.

The device worked fine until about mid May 2022 when ALL Google Duo video calls made to the device or from the device contain an VERY loud echo on the remote person's smartphone or PC running Duo. Come on Lenovo! People with the device are posting ALL over the internet that we ALL are having this issue. When did you do an update that screwed this up? When are you going to fix it? This device was bought for an 86 year old woman to use. It is worthless unless you fix what you broke. Are you going to buy back the units if you won't fix the prolem you created?

We purchased 4 of these during the pandemic and gave them to family so we could all communicate. The device has its limitations since you can only use duo to make video calls and the interface is confusing, but as a group we were able to figure it out and loved chatting whenever we could. The grandparents even use this to read stories to the grandkids at night. We also find this really handy to use in our kitchen to pull up recipes and for general looking up of things. Apparently there is a very well known issue with this device... There is a faulty ribbon cable that connects the LCD screen to the unit. Out of the 4 units we purchased, 1 encountered this flaw. It was the one we kept for ourselves luckily, as that would have been a super crappy gift otherwise. Our device works but the screen does not. It happened of course right as our warranty was expiring and due to busy work schedules, and work travel, we were not able to troubleshoot the device before the warranty expired. Within a week of the warranty expiring, we followed troubleshooting steps online per Lenovo's website, and when it still wouldn't work, we tried to contact Lenovo support, and that was NOT an easy task to complete. They sent us the same troubleshooting steps that we had already completed and did not respond to any follow up emails or questions. We tried to contact support online multiple times after that and did not have any luck getting through to anyone. We gave up on that route and contacted Lenovo through Facebook instead. They were finally responsive through this channel but would not honor the warranty and sent me a list of places I could take the unit for repair, at my own cost. Long story short, we will not be purchasing any more Lenovo devices. This device should have lasted longer than 1 year. In this experience, 1 out of the 4 units we purchased was a lemon... The device had a publicly known flaw and Lenovo refused to honor our warranty bc we contacted them a week after it expired... when the unit was already malfunctioning before that. I mean at least offer to send a repair kit? Not cool Lenovo.

I had this Lenovo smart display for over a year now. It was working great. Recently there is glitch that google home no longer recognize the display and sit there useless and froze. Its been sitting on my house for the last month useless. Need a fix. and out of warranty.

I have a VERY well put together enterprise wifi network at home. Not a single device has difficulty connecting except for this display. If someone technical is reading this on their support team, I'd like to specify that: It will not connect to my 160MHz wide DFS broadcasting AP with basic WPA2 personal settings. Instead it connects to an AP across the house which broadcasts a 80Mhz wide DFS channel. Anything/Everything else on the network connects to the AP except for this device. Nothing about the network is unique or special. I'll gladly update this review to 5 stars if someone is able to update/fix this. Why?

This is an excellent product for home o for the gift. It not only help in day to day assistant it also work as a digital photo frame. My wife make the full use of it by making different variety of food dishes from You Tube. I purchased 4 of this item for myself and as a gift to my friends and family and all of them are extremely happy with it. Planning to purchase 3 more when it will be in available again.

This thing is not worth the money. Can't play Netflix, Hulu, Disney plus. 9 out of 10 times it doesn't do the command u tell it. Says" something went wrong try again in a few seconds" then try again same thing. I have to unplug this thing a dozen times a day. Waited for updates to see if it would fix. Nope, have had it for a couple years now. Still garage! Do yourself a favor. Don't buy and buy google hub or max. I recommend max for also having indoor camera. Same price as max lol Lenovo u really dropped the ball on this. Max has more features and sounds better. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

I really like this display. In fact I liked it so much I have 2 of 10" smart displays as well as a few others! I use one in the kitchen for music, videos, recipes, weather and smart home features. The intercom feature is very nice too because the other 10" display is in the office on a different floor and works great for communicating with people around the house. Both the verbal and the touch screen interfaces are easy to figure out and become a very effecient means of communication and information retrieval.

For only $80 this smart display is the best deal on the market. I love that it uses Google photos as my screen saver so I can see photos of my friends and family all day long. The resolution is excellent and the photos really pop on this device. I have had issues with the device being slow at times or lagging, but other than that it has worked really well. I love the recipe feature as we keep this in the kitchen. I also am able to watch YouTube videos while cooking or washing the dishes. Overall I find this an essential addition to anyone's home.

Great device, responsive screen, perfect for video calls. I wish the microphone was a bit more sensitive. And this is not a problem with the Lenovo device necessarily--video calls rotate between portrait and landscape, but the interface as a whole does not. Google should fix this.

The Lenovo Smart Display 10" has a beautiful display screen, is a fantastic design, fits where it needs to fit, color is just right, works flawlessly, and is a great asset for us in our kitchen. We subscribe to TuneIn and SiriusXM so we can listen to our local radio station day or night without losing it in the evening; and listen to SiriumXM Doctor radio show anytime and hear the latest medical updates. We can cast YouTube to the Smart Display also, so we can do a webinar on a convenient screen and have perfect audio. We do ask questions of the Google Assistant, but not very often. All in all this is an amazing device to add to coveniences in our home.

It's great. I love the way it looks. It sounds great. Functions well. The only thing it's missing is support for zoom calls. That's The only thing doing me from the 5 star rating.

Great looking Smart Display that can match a home’s aesthetic. Very good speakers that can fill a kitchen with sound. Unfortunately Google ending free photo uploads to Google Photos makes this item less desirable for using this as a photo album.
