An extra $30.00 isn't worth it - Buy the base kit.

The mount is well made and holds the iPad securely. The only downside was the lanyard and 3 cables. I really don't need a lanyard - got a bunch of them and they were free. Due to the lack of information on the three cables included in the kit is frustrating and now I have three useless cables that I can't use. An additional $30.00 from the base kit....buy the base without the cables and the lanyard.

Nice

I consider this one a very nice tablet mount. The only reason to give it 4 out of 5 is the difference in materials between the base and the tablet holder. While the base is a very nice robust aluminum the tablet holder is a not very strong plastic that does not lock my tablet into position securely. Besides this it is very nice.

The holder is good for tablets. Noi longer able to use cellular without first disassembling the unit. (Too large for cellular.)

Recommended for EVO Standard Controllers and tablets!

Overall quality is top notch. The design is the sturdiest thus far. This is preferred to hold my 8th Generation iPad. The only recommended change would be a larger access slot for the USB and charging ports.
