Works best with a new computer

I use this monitor for streaming movies and office work, no gaming. I did have to upgrade my video card to provide the resolution settings that the monitor required, an unexpected expense. Now it works great. Advise checking your video card settings before purchasing if you have an older computer.

Decent product

Great monitor. Minor flaws. I the actual stand isn't very sturdy even after screwing the monitor in place properly. Also I wasn't aware this monitor didn't come with built in speakers. My computer tried to output sound and it didn't work, only for me to realize much later that this monitor doesn't have speakers. Kind of a bummer as I haven't seen this before

Updating my previous review

Fonts look very good for being a VA monitor, and colors are rich. The issue with this monitor is that it lacks a USB-C port, which is very convenient and pretty much found on all 34" monitors costing approximately $300. Also, the monitor appears to have a bug, which makes it automatically dim from time to time when the SMART ENERGY SAVINGS feature is set to high, and then slowly regains luminance. I will be returning it.

Beautiful colors and sharp looking fonts

Having owned an LG 34" IPS curved panel since 2019, I can honestly say that I am impressed with this VA panel. I have always steered clear of VA panels because of the ghosting on fonts, and just horrible performance when compared to an IPS panel. Not sure what LG did different with this VA panel, but the fonts look great on it, and the colors are very vivid. I also like that this panel has an 1800R curvature, which at least for me is the perfect curvature on widescreen monitors; it's not too pronounce and not too flat, it's just right. I don't like the fact that it does not include a USB-C port, that's the only con.
