These are great monitors and with a little tweaking provide an excellent image. Beware that the cables can make or break what you see. Initially I thought I had a defective monitor and LG _very_ kindly accepted its return. After much experimentation and testing I discovered the cables and USB adapter I had were nowhere near up to the task. That adapter worked fine with my old 2k/QHD monitor at 75Hz. The adapter claimed to be capable of 8k @ 60hz but could not do the 2k/QHD at 200hz for this monitor. On a static desktop image I got lots of flickering, random lines, and noise. The first thing I tried was to reduce the refresh rate down to 120Hz. No joy, still lots of flickering. Next was replacement of the display port cable, the 1.4 cable (4k@60Hz) I was using with my old monitor did not cut it. Neither did the cable that came with the monitor. although it showed slight improvement. Going to a display port 2.1 cable rated for 8k @ 120 Hz make a marked improvement with only occasional flickering. Finally I replaced the USB adapter (now 16k @ 60Hz massive overkill I know) and the picture was absolutely stunning and flawless. So this is an excellent monitor but the adapter and cables can make or break the performance.

Performance of the monitor is great but it has a stuck pixel near the middle of the screen that is distracting during dark moments.

I plan to return this monitor to the retailer within the 15-day trial period. I have spent hours trying to get the colours right. It has proven impossible. When I set web pages, email and Word to display properly, Youtube videos are too dark to see at all. When I change the settings to be able to see Youtube videos, all those other applicationsl are so bright that they are washed out. The instructions in the manual are very poorly written so, while it may be possible to get the settings correct, it is impossible to determine that from the manual.

Bought this as a self present in 2024, made a claim before warranty ended because the screen showed dead pixels in the first few months been told numerous times they would contact and replace the product but it never happened and LG says it's not their problem it's a sub-contractor. not worth the full price if there's no warranty and the foot is trash.

I can honestly say that this product more than meets my expectations. I find it does exactly what I need. 1440P with high refresh rate, HDR and a lot of settings to tweak it to perfection. The size is just right, and curved shape is easy to get accustomed to.

DVI port never worked. I sent it in for repair and they failed to fix it. I won't buy from this company again. I am forced to use the HDMI port.

Amazing monitor to step up in to 1440p. It is truly worth it as every game and video just looks crisp now. For reference, my previous monitor was 1080p 24" 144hz and I am so happy that I decided to upgrade.

Very disappointed mid screen had lines across flickering , the ligh bleed was massive bottom screen mainly in left side witch was beyond distracting LG had to up their quality control .. they don't have enough training or don't care enough and pass anything that turns on .. very disappointed

every time I play a game, there is a flickering that keeps happening. I have everything updated and its bothering. It is not smooth at all when in 144hz or 240hz and you feel like youre playing in like 30-60fps. it is so bad and i do not recommend this monitor at all for media content its good, but not great at all for gaming especially fps games

Mine arrived with specs of dirt in the display When I called customer service, I was told they couldn't do a replacement since it was shipped with FedEx, so I was only offered a refund (which would've been fine except I got it on sale and now it's back to full price). This is the second one of these I've had. It's a great monitor if it works, but with LG I'm not sure the stress of terrible support is worth rolling the dice.

Great product Overall, quality image is pretty good. There is one general issue with the DP 1.4 and Nvidia, when plugged in with the Display port some random flickering appears, the solution is to change the Depth color in the nvidia software to 10 bpc, there is no issue using the HDMI.

While I am by no means a tech guy, I can only go by what looks good to me and this monitor showed me definition andd colors that I had never seen before in a monitor. I use it in my home recording studio and I also use it to do work in photoshop. But what really blew me away was looking at some of the pictures that Webb Telescope had taken. They were breath taking and come to life with this monitor. I can't quote specs and such, but I do know beauty when I see it and thanks to LG, it's now a part of my life. Thank you.

I asked many of my gaming friends about monitors before purchasing one. There were several brands recommended, but I took my one fiend's recommendation of the LG and I am happy I did! This is a game changer for me with monitors. I love it! Colors are fantastic, great custom options and the display is crisp and beautiful out of the box! I work from home on my computer (and game quite a bit as well) and being able to see crisp fonts and graphics is wonderful with much less eye strain. It is a great price and is exceptional quality. The best monitor I have owned over the past 20 years.

I recently picked up the LG 27 ULTRAGEAR? QHD monitor, and it's been a revelation for my gaming and everyday computer use. The difference the 240Hz refresh rate makes in smoothness is amazing-everything from scrolling through web pages to moving windows around feels more fluid. Movies and games look incredibly sharp. It's not the cheapest monitor out there, but considering how much it's improved my daily computer experience, I'd say it's been a fantastic investment.

I bought this monitor from Amazon. Brand new, looked very nice and then I turned on the display and I see 3 dead pixels on the screen. I returned it to Amazon right away. A couple weeks later, I bought the same monitor, and again it arrived with dead pixels. Quality Control issues on this monitor is ridiculous. Very disappointed in LG.

Packaging: 100% 5 stars, amazing foam and well packaged, no damage and the box was very nice. Image Quality: Great, if I didn't know better I would have said it was a close to 4k. Refresh Rate: 240Hz!!!! Crazy, amazing for games such as God of War and other FPS games that need high a refresh rate. I like the calibration options and the color calibrated sRGB mode which is good enough and with a few tweaks could very well be used for day-to-day graphics design. Overall: This is still early and I haven't used it long but so far it is a great bang for the buck and if you don't mind not having RGB on the back or plastic on the mounting hardware it is as good as the other versions, even though it is IPS it is comparable to the OLED version.

After nearly month of use, I couldn't be more pleased. The main reason I liked this panel was because of its pixel response time. I haven't seen any ghosting or artifacts. The 240hz refresh rate is a huge plus being able to play games like Overwatch or Call of Duty with amazing frame rates. I have G-Sync enabled and haven't seen any screen tearing either. The colors pop and HDR makes everything much more vibrant. I was worried 400 nits would be to dim (comparing to a TV) but it's more than bright enough. Slight downside with the IPS panel is that there's a fair bit of glow at the bottom of the screen, however, it's only noticeable in dark scenes. I also moved the monitor back a few inches and that slight change of viewing angle also helped with the glow a lot. Great monitor for all gaming needs.

Fantastic monitor. Upgraded from a ultrawide LG 29UM68 1080p. Loving the 1440p and response time of this monitor. Hooked up to my evga xc3 3070 via hdmi 2.1. Using a monitor arm and have the ultrawide on the side now to do music and discord while gaming.
