Great piece of kit. I paired with an arm desk mount to make positioning easier. I do a lot of development and having a wide IDE side-by-side with a "full page" browser showing API docs, etc, is awesome. I also calibrated for use with photoshop/lightroom classic with very good results. Can't speak to the gaming since I do not game on this workstation. \ I have a laptop and monitor just to the side and have hooked up the laptop dock to the HDMI in on the monitor so I can make use of the Dual Controller functionality from time-to-time. Seems to work great. Only irritation is that all the maintenance is done via USB - so you have to connect via USB even if you are also connected some other way. Then the calibration gripes because you have two connections and it won't work. I would prefer to use DP for the video and just use the USB for management/config/updates - but if the USB is hooked up and the PC supports display over USB then it is going to treat it like a monitor connection.

Amazing. All around, during gaming and productivity apps, it simply works flawlessly. Heavy-duty monitor base and plenty of options to fit your current or future setup. I use this monitor with Windows and Mac and switch between displays using the monitor input button at the bottom.

Having replaced my 57" Odyssey Neo G9 with this monitor, I'm impressed. I love that it generates significantly less heat, is much lighter, and works perfectly with my existing wall mount. The true blacks are stunning, and the lower power consumption is a huge plus when running on a UPS. While I'd love a dual-4K resolution and a higher refresh rate, this "4K2K" panel is currently the only ultrawide option with enough vertical height to display 4K content properly in the center-other OLEDs just don't have the stature. My only technical hiccup occurred when running multiple monitors on my RTX 5090; this display caused system lag due to a handshake loop. Fortunately, switching one of my other monitors from DisplayPort to HDMI resolved the issue entirely.

Make sure you have a video card that can support the 5K capabilities. You will need a RTX 5070 or higher, you can use the lower end 70 series, make sure you have an 8K HDMI cable or a 2.1 HDMI or Display cable. After installing and updating the software it finally gave me a tighter picture but not 5K, by chance I toggled the button underneath the monitor instead of in back as the website told me and BOOM I got a nice tight picture at 5K. Colors are amazing and it works awesome. The only issue I had was that the button I toggled did not bring up a menu.

I hate webOS. I hate the remote. This is not a Monitor, but a TV. It doesn't wake up from sleep. You have to always keep that remote on the table, so you could turn it on manually. Even with remote, sometimes it stops recognizing input, so you WILL have to unplug and plug in some sort of cable (and access to those is bad). If you expect to use your work laptop via type C and PC... Forget it. The only hole that passes USB input devices, is the type C, which is required by laptop. Silly design, useless for dual setups. Settings menu is very slow and laggy. Has tons o useless AI options.

Big and Beautiful. I do development in VSCode, and I can get 3 code screens and an AI coplot window all side by side. Other engineers that have seen it have gone out and bought one. Image is super stable and easy on the eyes.

I purchased the 45GX950-A-B specifically for the built-in KVM. I tried several KVM's, and each KVM prevented some feature from working properly, such as HDR, flickering, etc..... I stumbled across this monitor, and since I wanted the ability of having two full size high-resolution screens on one display, without using two monitors. The physical size of this monitor also fit within the constraints of my desk, and the high-refresh is amazing in games. I only use the 165HZ, but did try the 330 and can say it works as expected. OLED colors are beautiful. I can't speak for the accuracy, but they are vibrant which is all I need. As for the KVM, the initial reason for purchasing this monitor, it falls flat. It works on my personal computer, but as it requires software to be installed to function, I cannot use it, as the company's security software blocks the install of the DUAL MODE driver. That being said, the monitor is now permanently my work and gaming setup, and I'll use a BT keyboard/mouse that can connect to multiple PC's instead....

Great monitor in the main 5k2k mode, but the dual mode 330hz mode needs some work. Only 1080p and lower work, but the non full screen options it gives you make no sense. Ideally, there should be an option that is just half the vertical and horizontal pixels of the 5k2k mode, which would work out to be a 22.5 inch ultrawide or 18.5 inch 16:9 for real pixels without interlacing, but those options don't exist. If you use dual mode with anything that isn't the full size, the pixels look messed up. I pray that this is something that can be fixed in a software update, because you can just do that resolution in the regular mode and not scale it. It will just be 165hz.

This monitor has been completely unworthy th cost. I received the monitor back in October it worked okay for a while but had the same power and sleep issues that hav bee noted elsewhere. The monitor would refuse to stay on for more than a minute at a time and would go to sleep on its own. I tried the troubleshooting steps and nothing helped. I was offered a repair that once completed returned to me with broken pixels. I would overall not recommend this monitor as it seems to have too many QA issues. Now I just hope that I will get a functional monitor out of this.

It's the most game-changing productivity monitor i've ever used. If you're worried that the curve ratio is "too much" for excel or light photoshop work - in my opinion, it's totally fine. I don't use it for games at all - just day to day use. The width is perfect for either 2 or 3 side-by-side browser/app windows at a reasonable DPI.

My first oled monitor. The color and black levels are great. Love this monitor. The size and curve are just perfect for me. If it had a glossy glass finish, it would be the perfect monitor. Curve is a little aggressive but I like it. Expensive but worth it.

I purchased this from Amazon. It cam in pristine condition. Phenomenal picture quality at 5k x 2x at 160hz I love this aspect ratio. I turned off most of the auto sleep and energy savings in the menu. Product works as advertised. Again, amazing quality picture. Pixel perfect. I would like to see one improvement and I'm likely in the minority here.. The audio jack on the bottom is not auto switcing. So when i plug in headphones to the port I need to menu dive to tell the monitor I'm using the port. Not a deal breaker, but a minor detail. Ports are typical. I use DP and it has the obvious HDMI as well. Have not tried the pip mode but I'm sure its handy for some folks. BF6 never looked so good in 5k x 2k on a 5080.

Let me say outright that this is a beautiful monitor. I love it for both productivity and gaming. Going from a 1440p ultrawide to this was a massive upgrade. However, after only 3 months of owning it, it started to have issues with static pixels and at some points looking like a TV from the 90s with all the white and colored pixels. Eventually it got to the point where it wouldn't even turn on consistently. I tried all the troubleshooting techniques and eventually it got to the point where I had to make a warranty repair claim. The nearest repair center was a 90-minute drive. The repair center was great, took them about 2 weeks to fix it. From what they told me, a number of parts needed to be replaced, including the screen. No cost, other than the gas and the coffees I bought driving to and from the service center for drop-off and pick-up. I've had the monitor back for a little while now and it seems to be working well. I hope it has the longevity I would expect out of a CAD $2,000 monitor. I'll say it again, it's a beautiful monitor and I do love it when it works. This would easily be a 5/5 review if not for the required repair 3 months into owning it and needing to drive nearly 6 hours over two round trips to get it fixed. If you're located in Southwestern Ontario, ARS Appliance Repair Service in Vaughan is where it's at for LG repairs.

I came from an LG 32 inch OLED and wow am I speechless. This is the literal endgame monitor and the closest you will get to being fully immersed without using VR. You feel as if you are actually in the game with this monitor which is incredible for those who love immersion or being immersed. I received mine without any defects and everything from the panel, brightness, HDR, color is phenomenal. Could use more OSD features and a glossy screen finish but other than that it's perfect. Whether you can afford this monster or not, just buy it because it's 150% worth it. If my wife would allow me, I would have bought 1 or 2 more of these things.

This is a gorgeous monitor! Blacks are deep ink black, colors are bright and deep, brightness is great, and motion is smooth. In two months, I have not had any issues. The size is great and the curve is a non-issue. I had a 38" LG nano-IPS and was concerned that 45" would be too big and the curve would be too aggressive. 45" on my desk is wonderful, the curve in games is not noticeable, and the curve in productivity and browsing was of minor notice for a few days and then I got used to it. Overall, this is a fantastic monitor.

I had high hopes for this monitor, but after just a month of use, it's already bricked. The fan gets extremely loud, and the monitor immediately powers off. This issue isn't isolated; I've seen several other users online mention the same problem. An expensive flagship gaming monitor shouldn't have such serious issues. To make matters worse, dealing with LG's customer service has been a nightmare and again I've seen others comment about this online They're refusing to offer a replacement and pushing for a repair that could take weeks to complete. I'm told they might not even have the parts to complete the repair right away. I've already been unable to use my PC for a month, going back and forth with them, and now I may not be able to use it for another month or more while waiting for a repair and who knows what condition it'll arrive back in. The lack of flexibility and unwillingness to work with their customers to find a quick solution is appalling. I could understand if I had the monitor for almost a year, but having had it for a little over a month when it died and not being offered a replacement when I even offered to have a hold placed on my credit card is ridiculous. I strongly advise against purchasing this product. Look elsewhere. After this experience, I'll never buy anything from LG again. What a huge disappointment!

This monitor looks great with video games and movies, but text seems to have quite the blur. There's a lot of nice features that come with it and the size is perfect. My biggest complaint is that PBP mode is advertised on this monitor, but it does not support multiple physical inputs. This means you can not us split screen with two devices, but instead you get a USELESS option to split one device, and a an app like youtube. I bought this originally to replace my two screens and use PBP, but it looks like that is not possible. I will be returning this to Best Buy.

The OLED suffers from noticeable light bleeding and uneven brightness that completely ruins the viewing experience. For a premium monitor, this is unacceptable. What makes this worse is LG's customer service. Despite the monitor being only a month old, they refused to replace it outright. Instead, they insisted on sending it in for repair, leaving me without a usable monitor for 30+ days while they "fix" a product that should have been replaced under warranty. Paying this much for a flagship display only to be treated like this is beyond frustrating. LG needs to stand behind their products. The display looks good, the execution was completely botched. This display uses displayport 2.1, but conveniently doesn't mention they use the UHBR 13.5 spec (54gbps vs 80gbps bandwidth). On a two thousand dollar monitor, I don't expect ANY cheaping out, yet this forces people to use DSC. Furthermore, the "dual mode" is an absolute gimmick, because anyone buying a 45" curved oled clearly cares way more about visual fidelity over refresh rate, not to mention the 330hz mode looks so blurry and terrible. It sucks too cause this monitor would be perfect for high refresh rate racing, seeing as it is incredibly immersive, however no one in their right mind would ever use the 2k res. I would hold off until they make a monitor with a panel that has 5k AND 330hz, alongside DP 2.1 UHBR20. Ridiculous this wasn't the spec they targetted originally.
