Bought during Presidents Day promo. DEAD ON ARRIVAL. Wanted to do an exchange at the promo price but cant. Called customer support, they told me to reach out to chat, chat told me to reach out to promo team. Im good. Rating experience, not so much for the monitor, well, because it didnt work.

I pre-ordered this product within the $200 Virtual Master Gift Card offer window and never received the gift card. I contacted support through live chat and they redirected me to another department. After 38 minutes of holds, I had to send a screenshot verifying that the offer was real, only to be told I would not receive the gift card because I did not have the foresight to also screenshot the Terms & Conditions of the offer which no longer exists. This is a scammy way to get out of their side of the deal.

I'm someone who always thinks LG monitors are the best. I bought 27gx790a-b with excitement and again, LG never betrayed my expectations. However, the $200 I was supposed to receive as a promotional event was canceled because I am not currently in the United States. It was a notification that we exchanged e-mails with the person in charge for two weeks, but the ending was canceled unilaterally I've been thinking a lot about this, but just because I'm not in America right now I don't understand that the promotion was canceled

I pre-ordered this monitor when it was advertised to have Displayport 2.1 UHBR20. Not only does this monitor NOT have 80gbps of bandwidth, there was never an update sent out to notify buyers of the change. If I hadn't come across an article about this monitor's port changing I would have been stranded with this monitor. Worst of all I had been EAGERLY awaiting my first OLED monitor for over a year skipping the 240hz WOLEDs, the Dual Mode OLED and the 360hz QD-OLEDs because I wanted to be smart about my purchase and buy an OLED (that if babied) would last several years. I am disappointed to say the least.

Panel quality is terrible, I got a dead pixel about 20 days after getting this monitor. Literal $1000 with a dead pixel in less then 3 weeks. I have 2 other monitors that was less then $200 Ive been using for 8 years and neither of them have any dead pixels. Whats even worse is they refuse to replace the monitor since its out of the 2 week return window.

I have had this monitor about two weeks and been using it as much as possible. The display itself is absolutely incredible. The audio out is super convenient. Having 480 fps is a dream. Not having to worry about maxing my frame rate is a beautiful thing. Blacks are pure black and the hdr looks beautiful as well not washed some other units do. So far I truly have nothing to complain about!

This is a wonderful monitor for gaming. The refresh rate makes the experience first in its class. The colors are fantastic and the 2k resolution is perfect for gaming on the highest settings. I can move the monitor up and down for improved eye lines and I have my usb camera plugged in too.

monitor was not the issue , the issue was preordering the monitor and being promised a $200 rewards card only for the monitor to be delivered but the link is nowhere to be found to redeem it. LG that was very very poor and bad timing with everyone involved.

Description of the product said you would get a $200 virtual mastercard giftcard if you purchase before 12/25. I purchased it on 12/19! I tried applying the rebate, which says you need the serial number of the product and the rebate was valid till the end on 1/2025. I received the product, i tried looking for the promo link which you cant find it nowhere, i tried calling LG which continuously tried to redirect me to different places which didnt solve the problem. Now they want me to work it out with mastercard, but they dont know anything about the promotion. So is the rebate a scam to make people buy stuff and never get the rebate money?

In my opinion the most important feature of the GX7 is the combination of the 480hz refresh rate with the DP 2.1 port, allowing for ultra-smooth visuals and the very pinnacle of a gaming experience. This is perfect for me, as I am a massive fan of competitive gaming (particularly Apex Legends) and I have recently got my dad interested as well. If I win this gx7 I will give my dad my old LG monitor and use the GX7 then hopefully when I have saved up enough money I can buy him one too!

I think the most important feature is definitely the refresh rate, I think the refresh rate will really help when it comes to smoother images and better timing on shots in the games I play!
