Would I recommend this screen as an extended monitor Absolutely NOT. The screen resolution is terrible; it was like I was back in the 90s. Blurry and pixilated text which caused eye strain and headaches so much so that I had to stop using it. I was told "you can read the writing so there's nothing wrong with the product" after 7 days I took it back to where it was purchased, and they advised it is a product fault and happily swapped it for another brand. This product shouldn't be marketed as a home office display for "work" due to the quality of the screen. I didnt uteilise the smart features such as netflix, youtube etc as this is not what I purchased it for.

Purchased this monitor, but box did not include screws. Reached out to LG to get replacement screws, so I can actually set up monitor. Weeks later after reaching out twice, still unable to use monitor due to LG never sending screws. Very disappointed in purchase and customer support.

I ordered this directly from the LG website. When the package arrived the monitor had clearly been used. Manuals and parts were not in the plastic and the power cord was missing. Trying to address this with LG has been the worst customer service experience I've ever had.

Onboard speakers suck!....and no connection for decent speakers. Ok smart TV, but clearly nothing special about this device. My bad; first TV/monitor that I have ever bought that had no audio out connection. I have other LG devices/appliances with which I am very pleased; but not this one.

I bought this as a replacement for a TV because it had WiFi and Bluetooth. The picture is very vibrant with quality detail and color. I've had quite a few LG Electronics' products. My last being a 4K TV which was a great buy. When I saw this monitor had the WebOS built in, I knew I had to get it. The sound quality from the built-in speakers are very good. I'm very happy with this Monitor. It has HDMI and USB ports that are very convenient.

I have only had it for a few days but I can say I been liking it so far. The only thing I can say is the speakers like a few people have said they can use some work but if it's a deal breaker for you just get some additional computer speakers and you'll be good. Over all loving it so far, like that it's white so it matches my aesthetic. Perfect for me because I'm starting school this fall.

I recently purchased this monitor, and it has been a horrible experience. The monitor is very slow, making typing and searching a nightmare. To make matters worse, their return policy requires me to return the monitor and then wait for a refund before I can order a replacement. This process is time-consuming and inconvenient. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend purchasing this. The product quality and return policy have left me very dissatisfied.

I bought the SmartView monitor after seeing a few promos for it floating around and it's exactly what I needed! I was using a tv monotype since my MacBook screen cracked and while it worked, it wasn't idea. It was a TV - no options for screen settings for display or brightness, and some overall controls were weird. With the LG monitor, I can set the screen to my preferences based on lighting, gaming mood, work preferences, adjust volume, set a sleep timer when using it as a TV, and overall just enjoy it much more. It's a great monitor for the price! Beats buying a whole new computer.

I just purchased a LG 27" Smart TV and after viewing it for a month, I am not happy with the sound, it is not very load, even when I put the volume all the way up. Also when I first turn on the TV I get a series of Smart TV Logo's lined up on the bottom of the TV. It took me using Trial and error method to find the Right Logo to click on so that I could see a TV program. To solve the sound problem I will have to attach a pair of separate speakers.

Quality monitor for the price. The included remote and smart home setup work well and are intuitive. I use this as a 3rd monitor while working from home. Its nice to be able to use smart features to use streaming video aps to have on in the background and can then switch to a 3rd monitor when needed. The one small negative I have it the matte screen. Dont get me wrong, it looks fine and is what most people are used to for a PC monitor. When watching movies and shows it does take some getting used to with most screens being glossy. All things considered it turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. Perfect size and smart feaures. Built in speakers are nice as a backup but wouldnt use as a primary audio source (any bluetooth speaker pairs effortlessly). There is a larger model and 4K version for more money. Nice options to have that can be customized based on budget.

I bought this about 3 weeks ago. I needed a monitor that would be compatible with my Mac. It was the perfect choice. Its large screen is slightly larger than my other monitor which is perfect for when I need to see documents better. The color contrast is almost the exact same on both monitors.

Its been couple of weeks with it, I use it for watching films, gaming and hookup my laptop for bigger which is been really perfect. I love how you can wirelessly connect your phone as well.
