Bad practice by LG. I purchased when they had the sale right around cyber Monday, but a few days later the requested a return by UPS and didn't say anything to me. This is a horrible business practice and seems common with this company. If this was a pricing error, which is doubtful, then the refund should have been processed at the same exact time.

One star. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. My order was flagged for return without my authorization and UPS showed it being returned to LG. Support admitted it was a system glitch, then proceeded to transfer me in circles, drop me back into the phone tree, and make me repeat everything after long holds. If a company makes an error like this, the minimum is to own it and ship a replacement immediately. That did not happen. Buy from a retailer with real support and return protection.

Same as the others. Bought with discount code to save $220 and was canceled by LG. They still took my money and still waiting for them to refund me Pretty shady and disappointing they dont honor their mistake. And to allow the order to go through and be shipped but then ups to reverse it and send back to shipper is pretty low. Lg is also hard to get a hold of and once you do they give you a promted cookie cutter response and over a week later still no refund or make right. Hard to support lg going forward with this customer service. Buyer beware!

Posting a follow-up review to my initial post. Don't bother reaching out to LG if they reply to your review-they don't take these complaints or reviews seriously. I reached out to the LG Digital team and was told someone would look into it. A week went by, and no one bothered to proactively follow up with an update.

Like so many other of the reviews and people here I have purchased this monitor on December 5, 2025 and applied the promotional discount code that was advertised directly on the product page. I received a confirmation email that the order has been successfully processed and another email a few hours later that the monitor was shipped. On December 8, I noticed that UPS tracking stated "return to sender requested" and the monitor has been sent back to LG. I contacted customer service only to be on hold for OVER AN HOUR without even speaking to a representative. I received no explanation other than "there was a glitch in the system". Meanwhile because they "shipped" the product LG billed the full amount to my bank and funds were taken! They claim that it will take another 7-8 business days to refund. BUYER BEWARE of these extremely deceptive business practice by LG. I do not recommend anyone buying any LG products going forward.

I wanted to share my recent experience with LG during Black Friday week. I purchased the LG 45" UltraGear monitor directly from LG's website using their official promotional code, Monitor220. The order was successfully placed, payment was processed, and the product was handed off to UPS for shipment. Shortly after, I received a notification stating that LG had requested the package be returned to the sender before it was delivered. I contacted LG customer support for clarification and was informed that the order was canceled due to a "pricing error," and that LG would not honor the purchase-despite the following facts: ? The promotional code was issued by LG ? The order was confirmed and paid for ? The item had already shipped and was in UPS's possession This was extremely frustrating, especially since the cancellation occurred after the product had already left LG's warehouse. It feels like poor business practice and not what I would expect from a major brand during a large promotional event like Black Friday. I wanted to share this experience in case others encountered a similar situation.

Product was recalled 3 days before delivery was scheduled, LG customer support team bounced me around for 8+ hours and could offer no support, couldn't escalate me to anyone who could help. They kept telling me someone would reach out in 24-48 hours and it's now 5 days later. They verbally offered a 15% but I have not seen this discount code yet. Now my product that was to be delivered last week has not shown up, I haven't received a refund, have received a discount code to buy a new product and won't have a monitor by Christmas. I couldn't recommend purchasing from a company any less than LG.

It doesn't feel like good business practice, and definitely not what I'd expect from a major brand during a big sales event. Just wanted to put this out there in case others experienced the same thing.

Purchased during a sale, shipped it to Florida from CA, only to have them request a return to sender. No notification, all that was received was a message from UPS and a few days later LG sends a refund request. Terrible way to treat a customer. Emails sent unanswered and phone support was not helpful. Will never purchase LG product again. Never received the product so can only speak to the sales process.

I'm writing this review to share my extremely frustrating experience with LG's customer service and order handling. I purchased a monitor during their advertised promotional pricing, and my credit card was charged immediately. However, LG returned the shipment without ever contacting me, notifying me, or issuing a refund beforehand. To make matters worse, the item has already been returned to them, yet my credit card still hasn't been refunded. I feel completely left in the dark, and it's unacceptable that I had to discover the cancellation on my own instead of being informed directly. Because of this unexplained delay and lack of communication, I missed out on multiple Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals for comparable monitors. I had purchased this as a Christmas gift, and now I'm likely not going to be able to replace it at a similar price - which genuinely affects the holiday for the person I bought it for. This entire situation has been incredibly disappointing. In my experience, LG handled this order poorly, and the lack of transparency and timely refund has caused unnecessary stress and financial inconvenience. I sincerely hope they improve their processes so other customers don't go through the same situation. Every appliance (Washer, Dryer, Dishwasher, Range, Microwave, Refrigerator) and television (5) in my home is LG brand. Not again. I have learned my lesson and never plan to purchase anything from LG again. I will take my business to a reputable company that values their customer and doesn't commit fraud. I will be submitting a claim to the Better Business Bureau.

Do not trust this company. I purchased this monitor during Black Friday, received a confirmation, and even a TRACKING NUMBER. The package was literally on the truck moving. LG then decided they didn't like the price they sold it for and issued a 'Return to Sender' intercept mid-transit. Because I trusted their 'Shipped' notification, I cancelled my other secured orders with competitors. Now I am left with nothing. This isn't just a cancelled order; it is a bait-and-switch that cost me real money and time. If you see a 'deal' here, don't trust it until it is physically in your hands. Shameful business practice. I spent 90 minutes with their support on the line, email, and writing to their social account- nothing helped. I hope others will learn from my experience

LG has proven to be one of the most untrustworthy companies I've ever dealt with. I placed an order during THEIR discount, paid for it, and everything went through. Then out of nowhere, I check my order status and see LG actually told UPS to return the package to them - without a single email, warning, or explanation. Just pure sneaky behavior. Let's call it what it is: LG screwed up the discount and decided to cover it up by canceling orders behind customers' backs. Instead of owning their mistake, they pulled the most pathetic move possible and pretended the order never existed. That's not just bad service - it's dishonest and disrespectful. This was supposed to be a Christmas gift, and LG completely ruined it because they can't honor their own prices or operate with any integrity. I'm left empty-handed and embarrassed because of their incompetence. I will never buy from LG again, and I will make sure to post this review everywhere so people know exactly what LG really is as a company. If you're thinking about ordering from them, save yourself the stress - this company clearly doesn't care about customers at all. Buyers deserve to be warned.

Awful product that no one should ever try to buy. If you like a display to... display at any resolution or refresh rate, to have the physical panel in front of you, with the connectivity it has. The dimensions on your desk, easily measurable. Then don't buy this because you will have purchased it from LG. And LG does not provide this experience. They have chosen a more, and I quote, "Seamless" experience. One where they give you whatever they want to no matter what you pay them. Then they'll hold onto your money anyway. Bad product by a terrible company.

I know I am not the only one, but this stil deserves to be known to the community. Granted, it was claimed to be a pricing error. Be that as it may, LG lacked any basic decency. No email or text noticatoin was given to inform me the cancellaion. I had to call in. Then the rep told me I would be refunded after LG received their product back. This is utterly unaccepable: LG misled me to give my money to them and now, because of their mistake, they would hold on to my money. I think LG is completely untrustworthy, please stay away from LG at all costs. I do not think this is a pricing error, this is LG's shady way to collect consumer information.

LG advertises promotions they don't actually honor. They display discount codes on their own product pages, yet refuse to accept the same codes during the active promo window. Their pricing promotions are misleading and not applied as advertised.

This monitor will come to represent everything that LG consistently does to simultaneously their customers. Not only is this a ghost display you likely won't ever enjoy it. That's exactly how the product is provided to you. No recourse. LG wants us to grovel and beg for them to care.

Not honoring the promotion and price for this monitor after purchasing it as a gift and no email notification sent about the product being returned to sender.

I ordered LG's 45" UltraGear curved gaming monitor during their Black Friday sale because the discounted price made it worth it. My payment went through, the order was processed, and the monitor was shipped out - so as far as I knew, everything was fine. The only reason I found out anything was wrong is because I checked the UPS tracking and saw that LG had requested the package be sent back to them. I never canceled the order, never asked for a return, and I wasn't even notified that anything had changed. No email, no explanation - just my order quietly being reversed in the background. When I called LG, the situation somehow got even more frustrating. The representative didn't seem interested in actually fixing the issue or getting the monitor to me. Instead, they said they would send me a "discount code" at some point in the future, but couldn't tell me when, how much, or anything concrete. They also admitted they were aware this was happening to other customers, but still wouldn't just honor the original deal. I asked if they could at least send me an email summarizing what they promised on the call, and was told they couldn't do that and would only note it "internally." So I'm left with no monitor, no confirmed discount, and no written record - just vague promises from a company that already canceled my order without telling me. The monitor itself might be great, but this whole experience feels sloppy and misleading. If a company advertises a promotion, accepts an order, charges the customer, and ships the product, they shouldn't be quietly pulling it back and offering unspecified future discounts instead of honoring the original price. After this, I've lost a lot of trust in LG, and I'll be very hesitant to order directly from them again. I'd suggest anyone considering it think carefully about how they handle their promotions and customers.

I ordered this monitor during lg's Cyber Week promotion on Thursday, December 4th, with a $220 discount. The order was confirmed, processed, and even shipped. I was expecting delivery this week. When I checked my UPS tracking, I saw-without any notice from lg that the package was being returned to the sender. I immediately called lg and was told this was due to a "system glitch" and that I would not be receiving the monitor I paid for. I have now spent over 3 hours on the phone trying to resolve this issue and still haven't been allowed to speak with a supervisor. To make matters worse, I have not received any formal email confirming a cancellation, and I was told that lg will only process a refund after the monitor is returned to their warehouse-a shipment they decided to recall. Right now, lg has my money, no product is being delivered, and I'm effectively providing them an interest-free loan for a week with zero communication or accountability. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Indiana Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. I do not recommend purchasing from lg based on how poorly this situation has been handled.

I purchased an LG monitor on December 5th with an additional discount, which was honored at checkout. The monitor was shipped, and everything seemed fine-until the day it was supposed to arrive. Without any notice, the tracking suddenly showed that the package was returned to sender. After contacting customer service, I was told that I would not receive my refund until LG receives the product-the same product they themselves requested to be sent back. Now I'm being told it could take over 15 days to get my money back for an item I never even received. This is completely unacceptable. The lack of communication, the inconvenience, and the long refund timeline reflect poor service and a bad customer experience overall. I will not be purchasing LG products going forward.

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience with LG. I purchased the monitor specifically because of a $220 promotional offer. LG cancelled my order without any explanation and refused to honor the promotion. Their customer service provided vague explanations, kept redirecting me, and ultimately gave no solution. The monitor itself is fine, but the way LG handled the promotion was unprofessional and misleading. When a company advertises an offer, customers expect it to be honored without hassle. Instead, I was left feeling ignored and frustrated. I will think twice before purchasing another LG product if this is how they stand behind their marketing and their customers.

Ordered last week. Never any update and now UPS shows that LG has asked them to return to sender. During the holiday Season cancelling an order on someone without notifying them is the worst customer service I've seen.

LG advertised a $220 discount on their 45-inch monitor during the Black Friday / Cyber Monday sale week. Despite the promotion being active and my order being successfully submitted, LG canceled the order without explanation and failed to honor the advertised discount. As a result, I lost the opportunity to purchase the monitor at the promotional price and missed out on comparable deals from other brands during the same sales period. Everyone else impacted should file a complaint with the FTC for deceptive practices and false advertisement.

As many other reviewers have pointed out, LG has (now twice!!) advertised an additional 220 dollars off for a total price of around 410 dollars. Then they cancel the order. After the charge has posted on my credit card. Stay away from LG. I will not buy from them again.

Purchased this product on sale from LG and they decided to cancel the order (along with other's who purchased) after they already took my money. Will be losing a long time LG customer since you guys didn't want to honor a sale price.

I had ordered this monitor and LG canceled at the last minute. This monitor had extra deal during black friday and i thought i would get the deal but they backed out and cancelled the order. I even sold my old monitor in anticipation that i would get this monitor. This is not right, if LG knew they can't honor the deal, why would you advertise at the first place? VERY disappointed.

Same as previous review. Placed an order during $200 off promotion and order got cancelled without explanation. If you cannot honor the promotion code just don't posted on your official website! Dishonored brand. Waste my time.

LG lies about their price promotions. They will post promotional codes right on their own product web site, and the not owner their own promotion code, from their own website, right in the middle of their own promotional period.

Super impressed

I bought This 2 weeks ago. It so far has been an incredible upgrade to my set up. Gaming looks super impressive on the 5120x1440 and work is also great for the amount of screens I am use to having open. Highly reccomend.
Excellent display for the office
By Cgrieco16
Purchased it for my 2020 MacBook Pro. This monitor exceeded my expectations. Being able to raise and lower as well as tilt the display makes it work with my standing desk. The number of resolutions to select is also impressive. Haven't tried the PIP yet but am looking forward to connecting my Roku stick as the secondary input.
