LG UltraGear OLED 45 Review - "This isn't a screen. It's a battlefield." -- First Impressions When I first unboxed and set this up, I'll be honest- "Isn't this curve way too much?" was my immediate thought. I've always preferred flat monitors and thought curved displays were just marketing gimmicks. In fact, I've actively avoided curved models until now. But the LG UltraGear OLED 45 completely shattered that bias. After testing it with several games, I finally understood: "This extreme curve exists for a reason-and it destroyed all my preconceived notions." It's not just a curved screen. It's a design meant to wrap your entire field of view and maximize immersion. During in-game cutscenes and cinematic sequences, the experience felt: - More overwhelming than IMAX - On a whole different level than simply sitting close to a big TV - Like being inside a 4D motion simulator This monitor isn't just a display-it feels like an environment. --------------------------- Destiny 2 - "5400 hours of immersion, redefined" I'm a long-time Destiny 2 player with over 5,400 hours invested. From a tiny 20-inch screen to a 32-inch 165Hz LG gaming monitor, I've tried it all. Anyone who takes Destiny 2 seriously knows how important black level performance is-especially in dark environments. With this OLED panel, it's a complete game changer. Thanks to the perfect blacks: - Platform edges are clearly visible - No more "guesswork" in pitch-black Lost Sectors - The game simply becomes more readable and playable On my previous 32-inch monitor, the larger screen felt nice-but that's about it. Now? With the 45-inch ultrawide curved OLED, it's an entirely different story. - It's not just a bigger screen. It feels like the entire battlefield has entered my field of vision. Your visual space is filled from center to edges-left, right, even peripheral. You don't need to turn your head-everything just lives within your natural sightline. And then come the raids: - Boss-wide AoE attacks sweep across the screen like they're exploding right in front of you - Skating across the map makes the background blur past like a hyperspace jump in Star ars - The sheer size and wraparound view makes my heart race at the thought of day-one raids - The game no longer feels like I'm playing it-it feels like I'm in it I've tried playing Destiny 2 on a big living room TV before, and sure-it was large. But it was just a big screen at a distance. This? This monitor takes over your field of view. It's no longer a screen-it's a space. - You can't capture this level of immersion in a screenshot. It's something you have to feel to believe. --------------------------- Helldivers 2 - "My body flinches with every explosion" I was worried it'd be like POE2-an optimization nightmare. But surprisingly, it ran smoothly at 5120 resolution. And it confirmed something for me: For these types of games, ultrawide curved isn't a luxury. It's a necessity. With the entire battlefield wrapping around you, you stop noticing anything happening outside your monitor. Your focus locks in. Your awareness expands. - Watching a massive Titan get obliterated by an Orbital Railcannon Strike felt terrifying-like the shrapnel might actually hit me - When Orbital Walking Barrage skimmed past my flank, I could feel the heat on my skin It's not just a big screen-it's proof that I exist on that battlefield. No benchmark or spec sheet can explain this. You just have to experience it. This monitor isn't just a tool. It's a gateway to game-world realism. --------------------------- Path of Exile 2 - "A grand compromise" Even with a 4070Ti, I encountered frame drops at full resolution. At one point, I genuinely considered rebuilding my entire PC. In the end, I lowered the resolution for smoother gameplay-but still, the colors and scale were absolutely insane. The UI spreads so wide that your health and mana orbs sit way past your shoulders. At first, it felt weird. But within 10 minutes, I had fully adjusted. Oddly enough, it started to feel more comfortable on the eyes. Finding the right performance settings became a mini-game of its own. Eventually, I got so immersed that I stopped noticing the size of the display. And I had to accept the fact that I wasn't even using this monster of a screen to its full potential. --------------------------- Stardew Valley - "My eyes have tasted luxury" Let's be real: Stardew doesn't benefit from 330Hz. The map is small, and it doesn't even fill the whole screen. But? The OLED color reproduction blew me away. It's the same graphics, yet the game looks completely different. Now, I can't go back to LED panels. My eyes just won't accept it. My eyes have learned what luxury looks like. --------------------------- Project Zomboid - "Not made for this monitor, but still fascinating" It only supports up to 3840x2160, so the sides get cut off. Which is understandable-it's a 2012 indie game. Font scaling was required, but frankly, it's not worth the setup effort. Still, I wanted to include it in this review to say: Yes, some games will crop or letterbox on this ultra-wide screen. That's something potential buyers should know. --------------------------- Monster Hunter: World - "A foggy disappointment" It technically supports 5120 resolution, but as a console-origin game, it's clearly not optimized for ultrawide. The sides were cropped, and visuals felt slightly blurry overall. While the OLED contrast did make a few scenes stand out, the game didn't deliver the overwhelming impact I expected. This might be due to limitations in the console-focused engine. Either way, MHW couldn't make full use of what this display has to offer. --------------------------- RimWorld - "I can see you, Randy!!" Yes, it's a pixel-art colony sim. Yes, this monitor and my rig are total overkill. But with the upcoming 1.6 patch and Odyssey DLC, I booted it up again. And here's the thing: "No matter what insane chaos RimWorld - "Doomed pixels never looked so wide" Yes, it's a pixel-art colony sim. Yes, this monitor and my rig are total overkill. But with the upcoming 1.6 patch and Odyssey DLC, I booted it up again. And here's the thing: "No matter what insane chaos Randy throws on the far edge of the map- I can see it all, instantly." That's everything. Being able to survey the madness of the AI storyteller in one giant panoramic sweep makes this monitor worthwhile-even for a dot-based survival sim. throws on the far edge of the map- I can see it all, instantly." I have ordered this monitor for my monster PC buil and it just a perfect. The picture is quite clear, the size of the screen is large, a little unusual after the previous 22 inches, you want to squeeze further, but the picture is simply stunning. Also liked deep black and matte. I will actively use gaming.

As a student pilot, I've always looked for ways to improve my situational awareness and flight instincts during my free time. That's why flight simulation has become a key part of my training routine. I use a full range of external flight controls-yoke, throttle, and rudder pedals-to make the experience as close to real as possible. But what truly makes or breaks a simulation setup is the visual field. At first, I invested in a Meta Quest 3 for VR flying. While the ability to turn my head and look around freely in all directions was impressive, I ran into some serious limitations. The visual quality was lacking due to hardware constraints, the frame rate often dropped, and most importantly, the motion sickness was hard to ignore. It became clear that I needed a high-end monitor that could deliver immersion without the drawbacks of VR. After a week of use for 45GX950A, I can say this monitor is exactly what I was looking for. Even though my laptop doesn't support the full 5120x2160 resolution, the simulation still ran beautifully at 3840x2160. I never once felt limited. The curved OLED display completely fills my field of view, offering a wide and immersive flying experience. Unlike with VR, there's no dizziness, no eye strain, and no blur. The clarity and depth of the visuals are absolutely stunning. I could clearly see to the sides of my aircraft, which is essential for flight training and spatial awareness. There was a slight stretch in the side viewing angles, Perhaps due to my current resolution settings but overall, It didn't impact my experience much. The visual quality remained sharp, bright, and natural throughout. Colors are rich, contrast is deep, and motion is fluid. It really feels like I'm flying through the skies. The user interface is another win. Unlike my previous 27" monitor from another brand (which had five separate buttons that always confused me), the 45GX950A has a single joystick-style control that makes navigating settings simple and quick. When switching to Game Mode, I noticed that the FPS preset made the image slightly darker, but this is a minor observation rather than a flaw. Installation was also easier than expected. Despite the panel being quite large and a bit heavy, I was able to set it up without even needing the manual. In short, this monitor beats VR in clarity, comfort, and usability. After just one week, I already feel like it's elevated the quality of my flight training significantly. "I am a HSAD employee and I received a sample of the LG UltraGear 5K2K OLED (45GX950A) to try. Seeing this monitor in action was like putting new glasses on for the first time. Pictures and videos do not do the 5k2k screen resolution and deep, crisp colors justice. The monitor was extremely simple to set up and was as easy as plugging in and playing. After adjusting some of the color settings and calibrating, I tested its limits on various games and videos and it packs quite a punch. First off, while the screen itself is the main attraction, the design and shape of the monitor and stand fit right in with my setup. I appreciated how sleek the design was, and considering its specs it was not bulky at all. The larger, curved screen was an adjustment at first but the overall picture quality was sharp, crisp, and breathtaking, and paired well with my 9070 XT graphics card. Compared to other monitors I've used the display and adaptability are second to none. Switching between dual mode let me play competitive games at a higher refresh rate of 330Hz which increased my FPS dramatically, while switching back to the 5k2k resolution let me enjoy single-player games on higher quality settings with an impressive display to maximize how well the graphics looked. Being able to switch between gameplay quality and picture quality was a great feature and I found myself using it more often than I thought I would. It ran great on Marvel Rivals when I wanted more FPS and was able to make games like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Monster Hunter Wilds look even more impressive than they already were. Even after some time it feels just as new as the day I unboxed it. It enhances the best parts and most important parts of your gaming experience and gives you the freedom to decide what you want to prioritize for different occasions. I highly recommend this monitor. The LG Ultragear Monitor is superb for gaming and amazing for productivity and daily use. The monitor's massive 45-inch screen and strong curve might look intimidating at first glance, but through my experience, I can almost guarantee you that once you get used to it, it'll feel necessary for computer use, something you can rely on for any tasks. First, and probably the most important aspect, gaming: the 5K2K resolution allows for more precise visuals in games with higher graphic intensity. I felt as if games such as Forza Horizon 5, Hogwarts Legacy, and Microsoft Flight Simulator, all looked better with the use of this monitor, feeling like completely separate games, compared to my other monitor. The LG Ultragear really pushed me to try more graphically intense games like Forza Horizon 5, widely known as one of the most graphically stunning games. I was able to see each pixel of the monitor blend seamlessly to create the illusion that I was truly in the landscapes of Mexico. One of the key selling points, the flex (referring to its aggressive curve), is really no joke! The curve allows you to see all your favorite games the way they were intended. You've probably heard this many times before, but the flex really immerses you within the game. In the beginning, it might feel a little unconventional, but that's just because it's new, the flex is a lot for someone to take in, but trust me, once you get used to the curve, it makes everything feel so much faster. For example, the flex makes it so you don't have to move your neck around to find your different apps. Instead, due to the curve, you're able to just dart your eyes around, allowing for virtually no neck strain. This provides all the benefits of a larger monitor, such as multitasking, immersion within your favorite games, and more productive sessions, with little to no downsides. I also noted that with the monitor's lower blue light, I could focus on gaming and productivity without the constant need for breaks due to eye strain. This helped me finish large building projects in Minecraft, which looked amazing with shaders on this monitor by the way, and complete a huge chunk of the main campaign of Hogwarts Legacy. Speaking of Hogwarts Legacy, while playing through the game, it was really obvious that this monitor was OLED. The true-black pixels, exclusive to OLED monitors, added a whole new dimension to the game. It allowed for incredible contrast with the vibrant colors created through the game's visuals. Now, for the FPS and third-person shooter enthusiasts thinking about getting this monitor: its "Gaming Modes," specifically the FPS optimization, increased my framerate by a decent amount, around 40-50 FPS, while using the 5K2K mode. The monitor also features a 21:9 aspect ratio, allowing for support for most widely played games like Fortnite, Marvel Rivals, and Halo. I tried playing games like Fortnite and Marvel Rivals on this monitor, and let me tell you, it's a different scene entirely. Each game didn't just look and feel like a shooter, but also looked like it was supposed to be a visually-oriented game as well. If you need a boost in FPS or just want more hertz, the monitor supports a secondary mode with 330 Hz at an impressive 2560 x 1080 resolution. In specific, Fortnite looked even better, the realism that was able to be shown through little details like the sunset, water reflection, and shaders only got amplified with this new monitor. The only unfortunate side effect of this monitor is that I can't blame my whiffs on input lag anymore, thanks to the super fast DisplayPort 2.1, allowing for blazing-fast data speeds, along with the 0.03ms response time, making for lightning-quick gameplay. Overall, this monitor is a great buy. There's nothing else on the market quite like it. When you look at this monitor, you can clearly tell that LG is marketing it as a premium monitor, due to the overall posh "vibe" of the monitor and the insane graphics that come along with it. If you're serious about gaming, need something to aid in productivity, want to try out OLED, or want to fully utilize your PC, this monitor is for you. Just wanted to make people aware. Multiple panels appear to have been affected with bad matte coating and a clear line across the screen that is related to faulty coating. LG was notified and refused replacement on a new panel. Only offered repair with shipping at my expense. Employees are unable to make action and was sent to presidential liaison line who randomly text you with no way to discuss a plan or communicate with them. Really awful experience. Just an fyi. I would recommend against buying displays from them but if you do return within the return period. Just awful after sales support.

This monitor is incredible in so many ways, and even with minor set backs, its still something I highly recommend. First, its big. Its really big. 45 inches is a large screen and you need to make sure you have ample desk space in order to support the size of this monitor. Its also heavy, I think the specs say its about 30 pounds with the stand, and you might need 2 people to help set it up. Once its set up though, you are immediately taken over by the sheer size of this thing! Turning it on for the first time and see your desktop through the monitor takes some time for your eyes to adjust, it feels like they combined 2 regular sized monitors and glued it together and bent it! The 800r curve is very noticeable, and this is where it might be a hit or a miss for some people. I love the curve, but doing certain tasks like media editing might be annoying to use. Editing video and photos though, look so great because the colors look sharp and bright, I cannot see myself editing media in another monitor. Gaming though, this is where it shines. Immersing yourself in a screen that has 5k2k resolution, combined with an OLED panel that has perfect blacks , contrast, and bright colors, and every game you've ever played will feel so different. Playing Forza Horizon 5, you see how colorful the landscape is, along with the reflections on the car. Driving fast and seeing the trees fly past you on such a large screen makes the game feel so much bigger than it already is. I love playing Marvel Rivals, and I'm glad it supports Ultrawide monitors, because running around in an intense battle looks amazing. Seeing the characters and the art work look so vibrant in an OLED monitor is an amazing experience! Also, remember to enable HDR. HDR in an OLED panel looks surreal! Note that this monitor has a 21:9 aspect ratio, not a 32:9, so the games that support ultra wide will not look stretched out. This is what ultrawide gaming should look like. This monitor gives you the ability to change the resolution and refresh rate, with its dual mode function. You can go from 5k2k at 165hz to 2650 x 1080 in 330hz. While the quality of the image does go down a bit when switching, you would get a much smoother experience when playing certain games. I like the idea, but I don't use it as much and I love the quality you get leaving it at 5k2k, it's a compromise that some will be ok with, but I prefer leaving it at the default max quality. The gripes of the dual mode resolution compromise, as well as doing certain productivity tasks on a such aggressive curve can turn off people. To me it's a matter of adjustment. Give it a day or two, I got used to it and I honestly feel like I cannot go back to any other monitor! "I am a LG employee and I received a sample of the LG UltraGear 5K2K OLED (45GX950A) to try. As someone who spends 8 hours a day in spreadsheets and Teams calls, and a couple hours each night unwinding with games, I am very impressed with the monitor. First of all out of the box, this thing is a beast. The OLED screen with the curved design wraps you into whatever you're doing. As a casual PC and console gamer, 240Hz refresh rate makes everything feel buttery smooth. And watching movies/shows on this thing is top notch with crisp picture quality especially the true blacks with vibrant colors. Definitely a fantastic all in one monitor both for work and play. wish i wouldn't have bought it, It is a beautiful panel when working properly, it is stupid bad slow to wake up and anytime i open a app or a game loads it says no signal going to sleep and blinks or flashes black a few times and takes a min or two then the screen will come back on. I returned the old Model waiting for the 5kx2k for the higher resolution, the old model there wasn't ever a issue. instant wake up no signal loss like it switching... using a 5090 and already swapped to different ports on back of it.

The monitor is the best the money can gets in May 2025 ! I'm totally impressed by the colors and size. I have another monitor VA 49" which was my main and there is no comparison on how games look like here vs the other one. The curve is natural and zero disturbing and the opposite it is what it should be. Price is so good. You deserve it ! Nothing to regret

Overall my experience has been horrible the monitor constantly black screened at least 12x per hour/ shipping date was delayed/ decided to return and I shipped it back on April 22nd and they received it on April 24th they haven't communicated anything back with me I've called multiple times according to the first 2 calls they didn't even have my monitor showing delivered to their warehouse. Finally after the 3rd call they said they see it was delivered but that warehouse is backed up currently and there's nothing they can do about it. Asked for someone from management to call me back on Monday this week I was told 24 hrs no response still. Not a single email from them do not buy this product to many issues with the product and customer support

This monitor is the best thing to ever happen to my home office. Coming from a multimonitor setup to this huge, single screen is a game changer for both productivity and gaming. Prior to buying, I was concerned that the curve would be too aggressive. I was relieved to discover that it's not noticeable at all. It helps with gaming immersion and doesn't impact my work (software development) at all. The picture on this thing is incredible. Colors are vivid, blacks are deep, and the panel is very bright. Even with a south-facing window in my office, the screen seems bright. I know I've seen some people have concerns about the matte coating. It's barely noticeable. I can't even tell it's there unless I put one of my older glossy monitors right next to it. Really, the screen does everything you want. Just keep in mind that you will need a solid graphics card to fully use the 5k resolution at the full refresh rate. If you don't have at least a 5080, the price may not be worth it. Connectivity-wise, I do wish it had more than one USB-C upstream port. The one that exists is fantastic, powering and connecting my Macbook Pro to peripherals through the USB-A ports just like a docking station. But additional upstream ports would have provided some KVM functionality, which would have been nice. That's not a deal-breaker at all, though. Overall, I love this thing.

It's the endgame monitor I've been hoping for. I've had zero issues getting it to work with my 2019 Macbook Pro, which was a surprise given the lack of 5K2K displays in 2019. Text clarity on the MBP is perfectly crisp. While I wasn't able to get it to work with the dock I had had, the included USB-C displayport cable works perfectly. I like having all of this space to arrange my windows for my software engineering job. On my 2020 Windows PC equipped with an RTX 3090, I've had almost no issues. While text clarity on my Windows PC isn't as good as my Macbook Pro, but I assume that that's just down to Windows and not the display. Gaming is excellent. My favorite game at the moment is Battlefield 5, and I'm able to more easily see soldiers on the ground while flying thanks to the high resolution and pixel density. HDR looks pretty good, though I've yet to play a game with HDR that really pops. I'm a huge fan of the curve. While photos of the display look silly, in reality, when sitting in front of the display, the sides of the display are just as close as the center to the eye. The impression is like being in an IMAX theater, which also has a curved screen. In my opinion, the wrap-around is more immersive than a flat screen. I had previously tried the 4K gaming displays that came out last year, and was just a little disappointed, finding them to be only a modest step forward from what I was using before. This, however, is a huge leap forward and I'm extremely satisfied. The only thing holding me back is my older PC- a problem which I'm going to change soon! It's challenging for me to imagine how displays can meaningfully improve from this point - this feels like it could be the last monitor I'll ever buy.

I am so dissapointed in this monitor. I have a loaded PC that can run anything. First of all, the color out of the box was not calibrated great. When I finally got that done, I was really dissapointed with the refresh rate flicker. I did all the tricks and checked every troubleshooting topic. As I type this thing fliickers once about every 10 seconds. My Asus 5090 is fine, my board is fine, everything is updated. I am RUNNING to the store tomorrow to return this monitor. Why didn't you wait LG until you could do 240 hz on a DP 2.1 UBHR 20? Where is the QD Led screen. SOOOO MANY THINGS have gone wrong in less than 3 days. Going with the MSI MPG322URX, while I'm going down in size I know that i won't have to worry and the display will be worth just as much as the GPU running it, which this is not. I own all LG Oled tv's and I thought this woudl be better.

This monitor is being intentionally held back in maximum brightness in HDR during the 10% APL highlights. The Windows HDR calibration tool clips/maxes out at ~600 nits instead of around 800 nits. PG32UCDP monitor is able to achieve 800 nits in the 10% APL. In addition, vignetting is turned on by default and should not be on at all. This monitor needs a firmware, asap, to address low HDR brightness and to permanently disable CPC/vignetting.

This monitor was amazing for 4-5 days. Using it for both gaming and productivity, I had no complaints. After not using it at all for 4 days because I had to travel, I came home to a large green line down the left side of the monitor. Google says it's stuck pixels referred to as the "green line of death." After attempting to get a replacement, the very unknowledgeable person I spoke with offered me a $50-100 credit and an additional year of warranty if I wanted to keep the monitor (because that would make someone feel better about spending $2000 on a monitor). She could not tell me what the "warranty" covers, but only that she could not provide a replacement; I could only return it and wait for a refund. This is the worst LG purchase I've ever made, and I've easily made 1-20 over the years.

This is the best monitor I have ever used. In a desktop setting, everything is crisp and clear. I have a fairly deep desk so I don't have to crane my neck. I use HDMI 2.1, which works for me. Not sure why people even bother to use DP 2.1 when HDMI 2.1 works perfectly well for this style of display. In games, holy crap. This thing rules. Playing games at 5k 165hz is an incredible experience. Add the HDR to it and it's even better. Baldur's Gate 3 never looked so good. I can't really tell the difference between 165 and 330 in games like rocket league, so I don't really bother with the dual mode, although that might be a selling point for some. The only criticism I've seen of the dual mode is that it does not perfectly scale, which it should be able to; going from 5120x2160 to 2560x1080 should mean that the pixels scale perfectly, but there is some fringing. See Optimum's review on youtube for more details.

I was hesitant about getting this due to the average stars, but it looks like most of those have to do with shipping time, which was a bit longer than predicted for mine, but it showed up within 10 days. The monitor itself is gorgeous. No photos can do it justice. It's so immersive and I think it's the perfect size if you're sitting right in front of it. This is my first time with an OLED gaming monitor, and I don't think I could go back. Something about the inky blacks and the way HDR looks just feels amazing. I had been holding out for a 5K2K UltraGear and I'm so glad I waited. I had a 34" UltraGear ultrawide prior to this, and the only 2 qualms I have compared to IPS are (1) the maximum brightness is higher on the IPS (though the HDR makes up for this), and (2) text is not quite as sharp on the OLED. I don't think anything can compare with IPS for text clarity, though. That monitor had a 1ms refresh rate, and I can't honestly tell the difference compared to 0.03ms, but suffice to say it's fast enough. I haven't had trouble with DP 2.1 so far, but I haven't installed my 5080 yet, so we'll see.

DisplayPort 2.1 in HDR does not work !!! Support says you need to configure something in the settings. Are you serious ??? For this money, everything should work for me without any headache!

Fantastic monitor that checks all of the boxes. Great image quality, high refresh rate, multiple resolution options and features, 1300 nit peak HDR, large format, and amazing PPI. Incredibly immersive for gaming, and the built in split screen and multi input options are great for productivity. My only concern was the 800r curvature, but when you're sat in front of the monitor, it just wraps around your field of vision and the curve isn't noticeable. Highly recommended. Best monitor on the market currently as of Q1 2025 hands down.

Incredibly immersive monitor. The 800r curve is incredible as it wraps arounds your field of view. Definitely an improvement over the G9 oled I had. My only complain it's the matte coating it's definitely not as good as a glossy one, and it's a bit blurry in light colors (looking at the sky in games). Other than that it's an amazing monitor, I just wish it was glossy.

The resolution / picture quality of this monitor is stunning. Coming from a 4K LG CX I was expecting a somewhat better picture, but was completely blown away the first time I booted up TLOU Part 2, and AC Shadows. I haven't been able to fully test DP 2.1 yet due to driver issues on Nvidia's end, but 5K@165 works flawlessly via DP 1.4. The 2.1 black screen issue was supposed to be fixed via 576.02, but issue is still present. Assuming the DP 2.1 issues are fixed soon. I would highly recommend this monitor to anyone with a GPU that can handle these resolutions and framerates.

Allow us to permanently disable CPC/Vignetting on the monitor. When going in the service menu and turning off CPC, you get a HUGE brightness boost on the edges of the screen, however once you turn off the monitor the vignetting is back, forcing you to go back into the service menu to disable it... There's absolutely no reason why vignetting should be enabled on the monitor by default.

Ordered monitor on April 11 and it came VERY quickly on the Sunday. Monitor worked beautifully with an absolute stunning display...for about 3 hours. I went away from a bit and came back to a monitor that would not turn on. Tried multiple outlets which were verified working. I took a look at the power brick adapter and a pin that should be silver is now black. I'm guessing there was a shortage or electrical discharge within the power brick. I was initially hoping there was no damage to the monitor. I contacted support that Sunday night via Live Chat and it took tooth and nails to convince the agent that it is the power adapter. I was indicated that the power brick would take 7-10 days to arrive. I told them to go ahead even though it is absolutely ridiculous. I called support on Monday and asked them to expedite the shipment and they stated it would be 3-5 days and I should receive a tracking order Monday night or Tuesday morning. I called Tuesday and I got tossed around for about an hour from agent to agent. The final agent for this call stated they had no information or tracking number or any status update on the power brick and that I will just have to wait. I ended up calling one more time but this time, I chose the option to talk with someone from the LG Partner department since that is where I ordered from. This agent, Chris, was excellent. He ended up calling multiple departments, including the Parts department who stated that the brick is on backorder and there is NO ESTIMATE of delivery. So essentially, it is quicker for me to return this monitor and order A NEW ONE than to wait for a power brick. I had to make multiple calls from agents who had no idea what was going on to being told just to wait to finally being told "unknown" estimate wait time for a new brick. ABSOLUTELY unreal!

I bought this 5K2K monitor on 03/17 and received it until today from Amazon, so definitely took a very long time to wait, but well worth it for me. I had a 1440p 240Hz OLED LG 45" and I knew I needed to upgrade to have the best technology and I am very glad I did. The picture quality is excellent, and the monitor works great with my 5090 FE and new PC I just built. The latest games look excellent, and the size of the monitor lets be open and accommodate several web pages or word/excel files at the same time so it's great for productivity as well. I did end up using the monitor arm I had instead of the stand as I prefer to be able to easily move the monitor depending on what I am doing with it. Highly recommend it if you can afford it, you won't regret it.

I ordered this monitor on April 3rd and it showed a delivery date of April 9th. It is now April 9th and my order status still shows as pending. No emails, no updates, nothing. Don't bother giving them your money, they have 0 customer support.

Picture Quality is a Game Changer
By jinny1011
Seeing this monitor in action was like putting new glasses on for the first time. Pictures and videos do not do the 5k2k screen resolution and deep, crisp colors justice. The monitor was extremely simple to set up and was as easy as plugging in and playing. After adjusting some of the color settings and calibrating, I tested its limits on various games and videos and it packs quite a punch. First off, while the screen itself is the main attraction, the design and shape of the monitor and sta...

LG's New Monitor, is One of the Greats.
By GCPark
The LG Ultragear Monitor is superb for gaming and amazing for productivity and daily use. The monitor's massive 45-inch screen and strong curve might look intimidating at first glance, but through my experience, I can almost guarantee you that once you get used to it, it'll feel necessary for computer use, something you can rely on for any tasks. First, and probably the most important aspect, gaming: the 5K2K resolution allows for more precise visuals in games with higher graphic intensity. I...
