Stay away from this product and this manufacturer. A 1 year warranty on a PC peripheral is criminal especially when the competition offers 3 year warranties. With that being said, this monitor is clearly failing since many people seem to have issues with it. After owning this monitor for two years, a dead pixel appeared. To make matters worse, the customer service rep walked me through some trivial troubleshooting steps to try and fix the issue which I have informed him that I've done already. Nevertheless, went through it again, and the dead pixel persisted. No other solution was offered and I was told that this monitor needs to be serviced. The worst part of all of this is that, the service offered to fix one pixel is going to cost $800 which is literally 90% of a brand new model of this crappy monitor. I am beyond disappointed and this is the last time I will ever be buying anything LG. Had two 4k LG TVs and both broke within a year, a dryer that broke after two years, and now this monitor. If there's anything to take away from this post is that LG quality is subpar and very unreliable, the warranty is awful, and customer service sucks. No idea how they're still in business while providing such low quality products. Good riddance LG!

I bought this monitor on black friday in 2023 for a discounted price. There are a variety of really impressive featured that i thought made this the perfect monitor for my workspace. I used to have 3 separate monitors for my different devices (mac, windows pc, and my xbox). This monitor came with 3 different input sources, which made me able to consolidate everything down into just one monitor instead of 3 separate ones. The split screen feature also made it possible for me to view multiple input sources at once if needed. There are RGB lights on the back which I felt was a nice touch, especially if you're primarily using the monitor for a gaming setup instead of an office/workspace. The lights however, werent all that bright in my opinion, and there arent many color options or a lot of customizability in regards to changing the color, which kind of made it not as powerful a feature as it could have been. The device also has a USB hub, where you can connect 2 peripherals, like a mouse and keyboard, or some controllers or extra RGB lights, which is quite useful for those that may not have enough ports on their own physical device that they connect to the monitor. I did face a few problems, with the screen developing issues within 6-7 months of using the monitor (flickers every few seconds and is virtually unusable) which is why i gave it 1 star less in the review. From a big brand like LG, i suppose i expected the monitor to last a lot longer than that, but im glad it was still covered by the warranty so i was able to get it repaired. Aside from the screen issue, im inclined to think that it is a pretty solid monitor for any gaming or office setup. Being a little disappointed by the early screen issues, and the rgb lights not being as effective, i's give this monitor a 3.5 or 4.

Purchased the monitor in Oct 23'. It was great for 7 months and then started having issues. I have now been waiting almost two weeks for a box to return for repair. It is insane that I have been forced to purchase another monitor because the time to repair/replace the monitor will exceed a month and I am unable to work without a monitor. If your monitor is defective you should not be put in the position of needing to purchase another one in order to work. Rather if that much time would be required, you should have the option of a refund.

I purchased this to replace three 24 inch monitors. This monitor is the BOMB. The colors are vibrant. I use it for everyday business and not for gaming. It is a gaming monitor with various modes. You can set it to your liking. I love that it has more of a curve than my other monitor. This one has a 1000R curvature. The smaller the number the greater the curvature. This monitor also has LED light on the back and you can control it or turn it off. I mounted mine on an arm to give me more room on my desk. The feet on the stand were longer than i like them. Overall a great monitor and highly recommended

So many issues with a Mac anyway. OnScreen randomly reduces windows to business card size. The only way to fix it is to restart. Tech support said to switch cables, so now it blacks out every 5 minutes or so for about 5 seconds. I've got multiple LG Ultrawide, and this is the newest and worst. I will be returning if possible.

I'm loving my monitor. Working remote has lead to some challenges as a I.T. trainer. When having to train in multiple platforms it's great to have a monitor that can support three different sources and have two of them side by side with enough space to present two different OS's in the same session. It's clean bright and easy to setup. LG doesn't disappoint.

I have owned it for a about a month now,, use it 7days a week,, 12hrs or more a day. So far so good, love the resolution, the Clarity it excellent. I am not a gamer, so use this for work and pleasure surfing. No distortion,, very clear. Not one dead pixel,, The only complaint it have and why it was a 4 star,, is that it has these led Lights on the back and a LED light on the bottom center that shines down .. Both are useless and mainly they cannot be adjusted or turned off, Can be annoying.

I've had this monitor for over a month now,, on everyday, 14+ hrs. a day. I am very pleased with it overall. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because there is a LED light on the back and a smaller LED light on the bottom. There is no way to adjust or turn them off. Very annoying. Spoke to LG and they said there is now way to turn them off. Seems rediculous that they put two lights on it and no way to disable them.

Bought this to replace my double monitor setup so that I wouldn't have to twist my neck so much, and I'm so glad I did. Excelent saturation and color contrast, and the curvature is just right for keeping the full length of the screen nice and legible. The only visual issue is that due to being a VA panel monitor, certain shades of blue and orange have thin black horizontal scanlines visible in them when they're covering a large area like a UI button. Still, this isn't noticeable when playing games or watching videos. Using Microsoft PowerToys you can easilt divide your desktop into seperate ares for pinning windows. I like to have my browser and work programs taking up the center in a 16:9 area, and then I can keep reference images, notes, etc on the sides.

The Initial Problem: Dead Pixels Upon setting up the monitor, I immediately noticed a few clustered dead pixels. This is not good for a new product, especially from a well-known brand like LG. Dead pixels can be a common issue with monitors, but I expected better quality control from LG. Customer Support Experience: Inconvenient and Slow I called LG to fix the problem. They said I had to send the monitor back first and then they would give me a new one. This is normal, but it was a big problem for me because I need my monitor every day. I sent the monitor back and then I had no monitor for a week. This was really hard for me because I use my monitor a lot. The Return Process: A Week Without a Monitor After sending the monitor back, the real frustration began. I was left without a monitor for over a week. This situation severely impacted my work and daily activities, as I had no alternative display for my desktop. Lack of Communication: No Updates or Replies The worst part was that LG didn't talk to me. I sent emails but got no replies. Nobody told me anything about getting a new replacement monitor. This was very frustrating. I hope LG can improve its quality control and customer service processes in the future. For anyone considering this product, I recommend being prepared for potential issues and ensuring you have a backup in case of similar situations.

PROS: - This monitor will display the highest outputs from the most powerful gaming computers today. - The included stand is well balanced to the size and weight of the display to allow effortless adjustments up-down, tilt, and side-to-side angles. - The performance can give you a competitive edge in gameplay that requires extremely fast reflexive movements. - A beautiful/stylish addition to any Gaming Set-up - Comes with all of the cables required for the numerous inputs and outputs for complicated multi-computer setups. CONS: - Heavy weight (32.5 lbs. with Stand), means you need a sturdy table to support it and a strong back to move it. - The very useful stand and the extreme curvature means that this monitor needs more room than most. The front-middle of the screen sits 9.75 inches from the wall behind it. The front of the curved outside edges are 15 inches from the wall. Top corner to top corner, the screen is 47 inches wide. To prevent my neck from getting sore from too much swiveling from side to side (to catch all of the action), the front of my head is 4 feet from the back wall. Make sure you can move your chair back far enough from the wall in front of you. - The speed and surface area of this screen takes a lot of power to drive it. 90 watts typical, up to 250 watts max. - No built-in speakers. A female jack for headphones or speakers is under the front edge. - The joy-stick like control to access and change feature settings is under the front edge. It's out of sight, making it hard to find and awkward to use. - The screen is not as bright or color saturated as I would like in a bright room. - It does not come with a comprehensive owner's manual. I still have trouble pecking at the under-screen joystick to figure out how to raise or lower the volume to the headphones or my wired speaker. Conclusion: This monitor is designed for gaming performance with little or no compromises for more common use. If you just view YouTube or cruise the internet, it is unnecessarily big, heavy and expensive. But, if you're a serious gamer or graphics user, then this one deserves your serious consideration.

The monitor presented a defect just a month after the purchase. The process to send it to repair has being quite problematic, no proper communication, had to call today to check the status because I didn't even know whether the monitors was picked up by the right personnel.

This monitor is an absolute masterpiece. I've loved every minute using it. Its super clear, very responsive and makes me smile looking at it every time. I also have a powerful PC, which of course helps, but truly cant imagine going back to any other setup. So much screen room, perfect curve, solid adjustable stand and packed very well.

It looks great. It functions well. How are we still not including Thunderbolt 4 as a standard for Mac users? I realize they have other lines for this, but it is getting ridiculous that we don't have a set of basic inputs for different device types.

I was in the market for a 49" monitor for working from home. I am not a gamer and do not consider myself very tech savvy. This monitor was priced more affordably than the non-gaming one, which was my main determining factor. It works well for my needs- having several different pages and applications open at once. The major differences from my WFH point of view is this monitor does not have a speaker and the brightness does not auto adjust for time of day. I have an external speaker I use, so those factors weren't deal breakers for me.
