Shopper : Will this work with the Logan 5000?
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?Dave Y : More than a straight edge, it has multiple uses and compatible with Logan Graphics’ tools. 40” is longer than I currently need, but I’d rather have the extra length for my use.

Very useful 40" ruler
The design and construction of this Logan ruler are quite good. It has a track that fits Logan cutters. The ruled scale is taped on rather than scribed which is similar to other Logan products I own. This can lead to inaccuracies so check it against a known accurate ruler. I know from unfortunate experience that you can fix this potential problem by peeling and reattaching this scale if it is a bit off. Both the ends of the ruler I received suffered from a slightly damaged corner. While this doesn't seriously affect the accuracy, it is annoying to see such carelessness in production. However, I find the ruler so useful that in spite of the above minor flaws, I would recommend it.
