I bought this projector years ago to replace a older lamp-based projector I bought in 2008 and overall, the picture quality of the AU810PB is fantastic. It is a lot better than the 3LCD projector I had before. Since I can't really control the ambient light in my space, the old one had a picture that would get washed out during the day. But with the LG, I can have all the lights on in the room without losing picture quality. I love it! My only complaint is that some of the setup features are manual and not controllable with the remote. Since my projector is high up on the ceiling, it's not ideal to adjust. Also, I have an issue with some random white dots popping up on the screen after a few years. They won't seem to go away no matter what I do to troubleshoot it. It's a minor annoyance, but very noticeable when there is a dark scene. I will be sending it in soon to be fixed. Overall, I am very happy with the quality of the projector. Laser is definitely the way to go.

Love this projector. I have it set up in an apartment believe it or not. The WEISA audio set up is a DREAM!!! Couldn't have a projector set up without it. Can't have a receiver and cables in my living room, especially with kids.

Doesn't support any modern app. Sorry, sucks to be you. HDMI ARC support is awful. Have to unplug the system once a week.

Overall Good buy for the Price point at the time of purchase. But 1 month after warranty and I only use this projector 4-5 hours a week the pixels are starting to burn out. Check many forums that bring this up and confirm that i am not the only one with this issue.

Three words to describe our LG AU810PB 4K UHD Smart Dual Laser Cinebeam Home Theater Projector that we recently purchased from LG in March 2022: WE LOVE IT! This Projector boots an Amazing Picture/Video Quality/Sound. The Colors are brilliant/sharp, 1080P/4K Videos are Awesome to watch, even the sound is Awesome coming thru the Projector. I have recently purchased a Receiver, and in the process of setting up a 7.1 Home Theater Surround Sound, so our Home Theater Room experience is only to get Totally Awesome once paired with our LG AU810PB Projector. We spent many hours/months on the Internet reading reviews/watching YouTube Video Reviews before making a decision in purchasing a 4K Laser Projector. It?s an expensive investment for my wife and me, since we are both retired and in our middle/late Sixties. End Results ? We definitely made the right choice in purchasing the LG AU810PB 4K UHD Smart Dual Laser Cinebeam Home Theater Projector. When we were ready to order this LG Projector, it was Out of Stock, and had to wait nearly four weeks, but it?s truly been well worth the wait. This LG Projector is Totally Awesome. You won?t be disappointed, it?s very nice.

I have now taking my projector back twice due to focus uniformity issues. When the projector works it looks great, but it seems to keep going out of focus every 20 minutes. Hopefully they can fix it a second time but if not I really want my money back.

I was so excited to receive the new LG projector. I was upgrading from an older Full HD projector that I think had really good picture quality. As I took the projector out of the box I could tell immediately the quality of the build on the projector. The weight and construction just shows it was very well put together. I was pleasantly surprised to see the projector has smart features so you can access YouTube and Amazon Prime along with other apps directly from the projector without any external video source. The HDMI Arc connection seems to work well in terms of integrating controls with the remote included with the projector. It has 3 HDMI connections along an optical audio out and 2 USB 2.0 inputs. So it is well equipped for different set ups. Now let me get to the best part the picture!!! Man I mean the 4K content is spectacular. I ran a couple of scenes from Gemini Man in 4K and the picture was incredible. So clear and vivid and bright. There are multiple preset picture modes that should fit any room or environment to get you to the perfect picture. The speaker from the projector give you decent sound but of course this is not why you buy a projector of this quality. The menus are fairly intuitive and the remote has a "mouse" feature that is fine but take a little getting use to. I have the projector connected directly to my soundbar and it seems to handle sound and Dolby Atmos seamlessly. The app store is limited and you cannot get all of the streaming apps (Netflix is not available). I have an external source connected to the projector so it is not a problem. Set up was very easy and seamless once I mounted the projector. I am really impressed with the picture and cant wait to continue to find different high resolution content and audio to watch. It was a perfect addition to my theater room. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for your honest opinion.

This LG 4K projector has brilliant colors and is super sharp.  I am impressed by the quality of the image projected.   We use this projector with a 100" screen and because of the 2700 lumens, the image is bright and crisp even in a bright room.  The contrast and standard settings are pretty good but for the perfectionists, there are settings to tweak the image such as being able to shift the image (lens shift) to center the projection.  They also have a keystone setting to make minor adjustments to keep the dimensions intact.   We connect vis Bluetooth to our soundbar for  maximum theater experience.  It connects easily and is able to find our sound bar without any issues.  One small downside is there slight light bleed/leak.  We have our projector installed near the ceiling and there is slight light bleed onto the ceiling.  Another small downside is the weight of this projector.  At about 25lbs, it's on the heavy side.  Lastly, a general comment about LG products. Each LG remote seems to be on the same frequency.  My Cinebeam projector remote also turns on my TV and vice versa. Every time I use the projector, my TV, which is located behind the projector screen, turns on as well.  Perhaps a different channel/frequency for each device can be used in the future. In summary, we are very happy with this LG CineBeam.  It delivers on a big screen theater feeling.  We are excited to host future movie nights and this projector will certainly give us bragging rights! I have received this product at a discounted price in return for my honest review.

I ordered the LG CineBeam AU810PB because I love big screens. When I received the projector, I instantly unboxed it and set it up. The setup was extremely easy. You just plug it in and turn it on. It has ask the apps you would need and HDMI ports for the rest. The speakers are decent, but I plugged it in to a surround system using the HDMI ARC port. I did not have a screen at first, but I had a bare white wall onto which I projected the screen. I was blown away. The screen size was much bigger than my 70" TV, even sitting on my coffee table in front of my sofa. I purchased a media cart to place the projector behind the couch and the screen size increased to 127". I cannot wait to try this projector on a screen of the max size of 300" or 25'. Even while watching YouTube videos the size made it seem cinematic. With HDR content, the cinema experience us even better, with vibrant colors and depth. It has three HDMI ports, two USB ports, an optical audio out port, an Ethernet port, an RS232 port, and a port for an automatic projector screen so it will lower the screen when you turn the device on, if you have a screen that supports the feature. I've had it set up and working for over a week now, and the difference between this and my old 1080p projector is very noticeable. Great image clarity and detail, bright with great contrast. I've used it with an Xbox Series X, playing games and videos via Amazon Prime, both at 4k. The Expanse at 4k is just amazing! Two slight issues: be warned that if the manual still shows that the default image location is that the bottom of the image lines up with the center of the lens, that is WRONG. By default the center of the image lines up with the lens. With a +/- 55% vertical shift, this could make a difference for some mounting configurations. This was verified by my vendor contacting the LG engineer in charge of projectors directly. The other issue issue is that the physical adjustment levers (zoom, focus, horizontal and vertical shift are very 'touchy', it would be easier to set up if it tiny movements of the levers and knobs didn't change the image as much.

I wanted to go with the HU810 first but it was unavailable so switched to AU810. Perfect picture for home theater. Crisp and clear! set up is super easy. after couple of week I switched to Expert Dark room mode and its "A"mazing! Setup was easy no brainer. I mistakenly mounted it a few inches off the center line but horizonal shift was able to correct that for me, thanks LG! (lens is not at the center mind it). I have active HDMI cable and projector shows all HDR contents with perfect motion and contrast. I didnt notice absolutely any noise while projecting.

The AU-810B is an awesome and versatile projector. The price point is also very good for the quality you get. Set up was simple, and the good thing is I can use it with lights on or off. I would recommend this product

I?ve had the projector for almost two months now. Image quality is what I would expect from a 4K device. The image is bright and the contrast is great. Blacks are deep and it?s hard to tell you?re watching a projector (compared to a 4K TV). The only complaint I have is that light bleeds from the lens to the ceiling when ceiling mounted and can be a bit distracting. I?ve read on forums that you can place cardboard over a portion of the lens to eliminate the light bleeding but that?s a pain. I?ve also had issues getting the eARC to work but it could be because I?m using an hybrid HDMI cable for the long run from my receiver. Overall great product!

I?ve had the AU810PB for a couple of weeks, replacing a BenQ HT5550 projector. The LG is noticeably much brighter. Image is sharp, HDR looks excellent, and projector supports eARC which is a plus. Built in WebOS works well, just like my CX OLED TV, however some apps have not been made available yet on the projector, like Netflix. Gaming on the XBox Series X looks beautiful, and lag is decent. Very happy with the projector.
