This skin has been very helpful in my Final Cut Pro X education. I don't keep it on when I'm working on other topics, but it's been very useful in helping to understand a more productive FCP workflow.

I am quick with shortcuts.. but can't remember them all. Helps me speed up the process.. Dont really use it to read everything.. but the color codes help me align my fingers when i jump on and off between programs.

I loved the idea of this so I bought it. And it would have been exceptionally useful when I was getting started in video. I already know most of the shortcut by now, but I bought it anyways because I thought was cool and could still be helpful. As fun as it seemed, it's actually not very practical. Mostly because the silicone, while soft, isn't quite soft enough and for all the time you still need to use your keyboard to type. It's not comfortable and makes typing difficult. I tried it for about two weeks to give the silicone time to break-in, but it never really did. While typing I was missing letters and/or needing to backspace/delete to correct. It became waste of time and not worth having on the keyboard any longer.

Having just started working with Premiere Pro, I was constantly having to refer to my keyboard shortcuts cheat sheet. No more. This keyboard cover fits perfectly and is easy to read. A big help. Highly recommended.
