The cover is of high quality and has a precise fit, but it ruins the tactile feedback of this keyboard. The key presses require a lot more force with the cover on, and feel mushy and indistinct. It's problematic for someone accustomed to Apple laptops and keyboards with a light touch and positive feedback from the key presses. It's less of an issue working in Avid where the actual key inputs aren't as rapid, but if I toggle over to type an email, I'm making all kinds of typos and skipping letters. I've been removing the cover, typing the email, and then putting the cover back on when I jump back to Avid. If you are a professional and work primarily in one application, it's worth the investment to get an actual keyboard instead.

Have a full editing keyboard from Logic and this is the next best thing. Fits snug on the keys and matches the full physical keyboard perfectly.

I had pretty much ruined my previous keyboard by spilling coffe on it, and not even very much. The thing still worked, but even though I took it apart and cleaned it, the space are was still sticky. Now , this would not have happened if I had that sleeve- the keyboard would have been protected. And it keeps dust out, too. Little bonus: the instructions say the sleeve is Machine washable

Great product and received pretty quickly. it fits on both the macpro and the wireless keyboard for Apple with the batteries. I use both and now I can switch as needed. Ordering more for the other adobe apps if available.

Nice look and functions just fine. The only thing keeping this from a 4 star is that I wish it stuck over the keys more securely, like the keyboard version I bought for my iMac.
