Easy to Setup & Use

This is one of the best external Blu-Ray drives I have ever used. The setup is straightforward, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow so even a novice will have no problems getting it up and running. The USB cable has 2 connectors, however the drive only requires 1 to be utilized for playback. You have to use both connections when burning a Blu-Ray Disk. Overall LG's External Drive is a No-Brainer. GET ONE.

Great little BD Player

Hi all. I recently purchased a new 14" laptop. Anybody knows, Most don't come with an Internal drive. I had previously purchased a LG portable DVD Player/Burner roughly 5 years ago. And it still works. Saw the LG on sale online. Purchased it based on my previous experience. BD movies play good. I don't know about the 3D mode. My monitor doesn't support it. The only real issue I had was, With the Software. But that could've been partly Windows 8.0. 8.1 upgrade is much better. I do Auto Repair on the side. And this works great for the manuals that come on discs.
