Lindahl Close Up Filter +2 Drop-in Filter

Supplementary lenses are simple lenses that allow closer focus than a bare lens. These positive supplementary lenses are not magnifying lenses but rather a close-up lens designed to change the infinity point of your lens. The positive supplementary lenses by Lindahl feature the unique ability to be used as drop-in devices. When a lens is needed, simply drop the filter in the filter slot of your lens shade system. These lenses are specifically ground to produce the effect and still be thin enough to fit in the standard 3-inch filter slot of the shade. These filters are an ideal companion for wedding photographers. Use for photographs of the invitation, or any other instance where you simply need to get closer than your camera normally permits.

Available in two strengths, +1 and +2. The higher the number, the greater magnification. These can also be used in combination, +1 and +2 creates a +3. No aperture compensation is necessary, and small lens openings (f8-f22) are recommended for best results. Also useful in the studio for close-up photographs where your specific camera cannot focus closely enough.
