The Listec EN-17SAPTD-EZ Off-camera Stand-alone VGA Prompter (17") is an eye-line teleprompter that consists of a 17" VGA LCD, wide-angle trapezoidal fold-down mirror/soft hood assembly, ProVista-75 2-stage aluminum tripod, ProVista W3 dolly and the EZPrompt Program. It is suitable for use when composite signal is absent and when a single tripod cannot support the weight of both the camera and prompter. Ideal for studio operation.
The LCD is equipped with SXGA resolution of 1280 x 1024, brightness of 300 cd/m2, contrast ratio of 2000:1, aspect ratio of 4:3 and a backlight life of 50,000 hours. With a viewing angle of 160 degree H/V, the assembly is viewable up to 20 feet (6.1 m) and can accommodate lenses with focal lengths of 4.5 mm or higher.
The assembly can be easily mounted to an on-camera prompter or the bowl-top 2-stage aluminum tripod with the mid-level spreader and dolly with 3" dual-locking wheels. The tripod and dolly can be detached from the entire system and used for other applications. Provided with a ball base and bubble level, the EN-17SAPTD-EZ Off-camera Stand-alone VGA Prompter (17")is easy to set up.
With the LVC-526 EZPrompt Teleprompting Program, you can prompt a single script or multiple files in fixed order with the optional Rundown Add-on. It includes EZDirect feature that launches the prompter without having to open the program. Supporting dual-screen operation, the unit reverses the text on the prompter while maintaining it in normal mode on the computer. In single-screen clone mode, a small preview window can be used to monitor the prompted data. Compatible with any desktop or laptop running on Windows 7, Vista or x, the EZPrompt Teleprompting Program is ideal to be used with standard off-the-shelf displays with no internal image reversal software.
