Shopper : Are the lights easy to store? Could this possibly be set up on the floor?LIAM F : Yes they are easy to store and assemble. They could easily be set up on the floor.JOHN L : The lights can be set up on a table or on a floor. I have also used them inside a large light tent. They are very easy to store. However, depending on the angle you shoot from, it might be a little awkward taking a picture from the front on position.JENNIFER C : Hi. As an artist I've been using my light set constantly! When put together the are each about 17" wide by 4.5" deep so you will need a box or some sort of container that is approx 18" wide by 10" deep to store. I use them so often I just tuck away in a corner. I use mine on the floor all of the time. It's just not so comfortable to lay on the floor to photograph but definitely doable. Hope this helps!

A good value if not a great bargin

I use this as the manufacturer intends -- to take pictures of small objects on a table top. The table needs to be 36-inches wide to accommodate the sweep and the two lights. I got better results after setting a custom white balance, but auto white balance with my Canon S3 IS wasn't bad. I also took pictures using one light and one of the included reflectors. This set-up brought out more texture, but I preferred the results I got with two lights. Some people may think the components are flimsy, but I think they will hold up OK under the use I'll give them. I'm not going to use this set everyday. I suspect it will get maybe 20 hours of use a year. It's well enough made for many times that amount of use. The set's best features are that it is very easy to set up and use and it produces well-lit pictures.
