Used a total of 3 times, the 4th time it started smoking! The light still works but can't use it because a fire will start. I've probably used this bulb a total of 7 hours.

The lamp that was shipped did not have the long narrow neck that is pictured here. The lamp shipped had a thicker neck and would not fit in my Smith Victor PL12's. I solved the problem by buying standard light socket adapters and sanding them down so they would fit in the opening. This extended the lamp socket out enough so I could screw these bulbs into the Smith Victor lamps

I like the blue lights better than the regular which leaves a yellow cast.

Great if shooting something witha lot of stainless steel, gives a good clean light that looks natural and bright.
