Excellent cap

It fits the lens perfectly. I like the shape even better than the original Pentax cap. And it has a string that you can use to tie it to the camera body so I won't drop it into a river this time

Works Great!

I was concerned that it would not fit my Nikon 67mm lens properly but it works as good as the original.

Excellent, but do check for sharp edges

These lens caps are a welcome alternative, especially for Canon users (Canon does not supply the pinch type caps). Canon caps cannot be easily applied or removed with a lens hood in place while the Adorama pinch type caps can. However, I've found two issues with the Adorama caps. One is the large protruding squeeze handles. They extend outward beyond the circumference of the rest of the cap and so the cap is easily dislodged when these are bumped. For instance the cap hitting the side of a bag as you insert the camera and lens into the bag can dislodge the cap and in the case of a holster, leave the lens sitting face down on the loose cap. With most lenses this leaves the front lens element potentially resting on an edge of the loose lens cap and being abraded as the bag shakes a bit as you walk or hike the bag rides in a car. I've not had a front lens element damaged that I know of, but found the lens cap laying loose in the bottom of the bag multiple times until I learned to insert the camera and lens into the bag VERY carefully. I do not have enough experience with other pinch type lens caps to say this is a problem only with the Adorama brand caps so have not deducted a start for it. This problem is potentially exacerbated by sharp edges on the back of the lens cap. On one of my caps I found sharp edges at each end of the two threaded areas of the pinch pieces. The ends of the truncated threads and a little piece beyond the four ends of the threads were razor sharp even though they are plastic. These can easily contact the front lens element in the situation noted above as well as when you reach into a narrow lens hood to put the lens cap in place. The problem area is easily identified by sliding a finger over the ends of threads. Though only one of my caps had very sharp edges, I've scraped or sanded these areas on all of my lens caps until they are very smooth to the touch. Only one had very sharp edges, but I touched up all of them to be sure. Given the modest price and otherwise good functionality of these lens caps, I'm well satisfied with them. However, I do suggest you be aware of the above.

Nice lens cap

I got this lens cap to replace one I lost. It feels solid and clips onto my lens well. The tether is a plus. I won't be losing this one. It arrived very quickly.

Perfect

This is perfect and just what I was looking for. I had seen some that had the cord attach to the cap with some double sided tape which I did not like the idea of. On this on the cord goes through a tiny hole on the edge of the cap itself, so you know it's not going anywhere. The cap itself is well made, fits securely and is far easier to use than the Canon one that came with the lens. (or I'd imagine any standard 'side pinch' cap.) Highly recommended and I shall be getting one for all of my lenses now!

It's a lens cap....

Not too much to say about a lens cap, I like this style because the 'pinch' on it is easier to get to than the ones with the real little buttons (but that is a personal choice)...

Beats original equipment cap

Beats edge mounted release clasps on Canon lens caps.

Perfect Replacement

This cap looks like an exact copy of Nikon's center-pinch design, which itself is my favorite lens cap design. If I need a replacement for a higher end Nikon lens and I wanted to be able to resell it with the original style, I might consider spending over twice as much on the Nikon-branded cap, but otherwise, this is exactly the replacement you want. I've got a couple of these in different sizes to use on older lenses that were missing caps or came with poorly fitting caps.

Works great.

Has a string to prevent loss. Very easy to use. I use it on a protection filter and easily with a rubber lens hood. Very light weight, but feels sturdy.

More then just a cap in a pinch....

I suspected a poorly trimmed piece of junk plastic, what I received was an OEM quality tool. My lens caps don't need to advertise, they need to stay on protecting my lens until I take them off, Adorama lens caps do just that! Great price with quality looks and performance.

better than original equipment

The internal pinch release is great because there's no exposed tab on the edge of the lens cap to be accidentally pushed and knock the cap off. But the best thing is the leash! It's long enough to attach to the camera strap, so when you take off the cap it's OUT OF YOUR WAY and yet doesn't get lost. I love these caps, and buy them for all my lenses, since they come in all sizes. Thanks Adorama!

About Adorama CC67 67mm Center Pinch Lens Cap

This cap features a front pinch style lens attachment, that does not protrude beyond the cap's diameter, rather than the snap-on outside grip style. The center pinch type is therefore much easier to attach and detach when a lens hood is mounted.
