This is the second Adorama capkeeper I have had in the last 9 years. The have a great adhesive that sticks to the lens cap solidly. It lasted for about 7 years on my D90 before the adhesive finally gave out.

I just can't do without my Adorama Capkeepers. Without my Adorama Capkeepers my lens caps would wander wherever they liked and my precious lens would be in danger. These Capkeepers hang on tight and the stretchy lanyard fits around every diameter lens I have. They're only small and they cost so little. Why wouldn't every photographer not need love them like I do?

These were bought as safety straps for my Lumedyne Flash Recycle Accelerator, which was once temporarily lost. But with one of these leash straps attached, it's a cheap "insurance policy", considering the unit costs ($).

The lens cap can't get away. It won't get dirty from lint in your pocket, and it's removable if needed.

On an overseas trip I dropped my lens cap into a ravine. My nephew was able to retrieve it. Now I have a lens keeper on all of my lens.

The adhesive contact for the lens cap does "stay stuck". The elastic and tether are clumsy with the tether being too short. Save your money - use a pocket.

For SLR cameras with interchangeable lenses and video cameras. Elastic loop wraps around lens barrel.
