Works - A bit tight
I own a JVC GY-HM100U video camera. It is small and very portable. There is a sunshield that comes with the camera. I take off it off for storage and transport since the cover is a somewhat fragile plastic. It leaves the front lens exposed and I did scratch the lens during transport in a case. The solution was this lens cap. It serves the purpose to protect the lens. The problem I have with it is that it easily over-tightens. The teeth on the rim of the cap are not particularly deep. I have to use a flat head screw driver to get enough gripe to get it to turn. Its a lot of effort, but I need the lens protected.

Great Lens Cap!
I love these caps. I replace the stock caps on all my lenses with these. Yes, it takes a little longer to remove and replace this cap than it does the standard clip-on or pinch caps. But ... they never pop off accidentally, and I know my lenses are protected. They're inexpensive and easily replaced if one gets lost, too.
