It's a basic lens hood and serves its purpose. It would be even better and I would carry it more if there were also threads inside to reverse and keep on the lens while not in use. If I'm not using it, I have to remove and go put back in my bag or hold it in my hand.

This was purchased for a Canon ENG lens as a substitute for Canon's $260 Hood. I think this hood does well.

This does shade your lens but is constantly falling off

This hood makes a good device to hold against the glass in a window to take a steady picture. It minimizes reflections

It is not a high quality accessory. It is difficult to mount and remove. The threads jammed on the lens. It looks as ugly as homemade sin.

Not being able to find a lens hood for an 82mm Raynox lens, I turned to this screw on petal shaped hood. Unfortunately, the plastic is a little too pliable and hence it pops out of the lens threads easily if bumped

This rotating lens hood is designed for digital cameras with either built-in or interchangeable zoom lenses. The hood protects against stray light reflection hitting the surface of the lens, and at the same time will not vignette the corners when using the wide angle feature of the lens
