Good Price But Not Perfect

Works fine but not functionally identical to the original Nikon. When it is reversed for storage on the lens, it does not click it into place. I only keep it in this position when it is in my camera bag. Some photographers, however, walk around with the lens hood reversed and they run the risk of having it fall off. Still, a good value. If I were buying the lens again, I'd get this replacement immediately and use it from day one. I'd save the original for resale.

Suitable substitute

It's frustrating to leave something behind on a shoot. No one to blame but yourself. Adorama brand replacement accessories makes it easier to accept.
