The hold isn't very strong to the actual Lensball. If you tilt it or hold it upside down, the ball will detach. I was holding it, turning it and the ball detached 2x in a matter of five minutes. I'll use it but will need to be very careful with it, especially if there's a hard ground beneath it. Use with caution.

A very nice item for securing a lensball and allowing you to mount it on a tripod. The suction cup adds extra security. Very nice little addition for lensball photography.

I would definitely suggest the stand. Many times one may not have a surface to place the ball on without it roiling away.

The quality and functionality of this product are fantastic. I will be using this lens ball “stand” exclusively in conjunction with a tripod. I highly recommend this product if your using a lens ball for your photography images.

I am using this with a Lensball and it works great. I normally use it on a tripod shooting with a macro lense. The picture of the stand is exact. If ordered from the manufacturer it would take 3+ weeks to arrive instead of 2 days from Adorama. I recommend this to anyone shooting through a crystal ball. Price was great and delivery was timely.

This is one cute but well designed lensball stand. The way it holds the heavy lensball is so nice. I loved it more coz i can also mount the stand to my tripod and give it more elevation and stability when in need. One very useful buy if you are fascinated to use the lensball everywhere you go.
