Purchased from a local Home Depot. A Friend of mine installed it. Looks Great and persform great as well/. Only catch is the controls-touch pad- are right on the top section of the Dishwasher. When attempting to close, on might accidentally touch the control panel. I am not sure if they could have done better this. LG has come a long way. And their products are so good and needs any scrutinity.

I love it however, one problem is forget a password for TV Rating General by lock system. All blocked. Unless password to unlock but don't know. How can I get reset a password because somebody changed and never know what is a password. Where did I get another or new password. I need unlock systems to hooked up with dish system and enjoy watch some programs but blocked. I went options and lock password. Four digest. I need yojr help to get it off. What suppose I do?

I currently have 4 LG televisions in my house and they are great products. Easy set up, lots of features and quality products. I love the picture wizard tool for picture settings. It makes it so easy to set up for everyone from novice tv users to tweakers like me. LG makes great tv's, and this 42 PJ350 is another awsome addition to my household! Beautiful picture, lots of connection options, and a great buy! I use it in our workout room and it is a great all around plasma tv.

We have had this t.v. for a year now and we are very satisfied. The picture quality is excellent, As well as the sound. We love the rotating stand for a good view anywhere in the room. Light weight, does give off some heat but overall excellent.

Price was OK, and I purchased the 42PJ350 thinking that I would get the same quality of image as we get in our other plasma screen TV, but we were wrong. Poor image quality.

I won this tv and it took the place of a 32" LCD 720p tv in my living room. The picture looks really good to me, at least as good as the 32", but it lacks features like internet connectivity and the only audio out is digital optical, which was a little bit disappointing. The menus are easy to use, colorful and have large, easy to read text. I just used a preset for the display settings and it looks great. Sometimes the TV will dim or brighten while it's on, which I think is a feature that I can turn off and probably will because it can be a little distracting. I don't particularly like the remote. It feels cheap and sometimes I have to push the buttons on the arrow pad really hard to know I actually pushed it. The buttons are big though, so that is kind of nice. I also wish it had some internet connectivity features, but I think at the price it was offered at, its not typically offered.

I have owned this for about 3-4 months and love it. Easy to set up, a great picture and good sound quality. It does put out a lot of heat, but I imagine all plasma TV's do this. Hope it lasts 10 or more years - we will see!

Easy set up & program digital TV and Dish network set up and easy to select by using input selector. Great appearance with little glare I would reccomend this to other's.

I purchased the 42PJ350 to replace a 32" LCD set and think that this is the best TV decision I've ever made. The difference in clairity and color are unbelieveable. Viewing the LCD from a side angle was terrible. It made the picture look hazy. With the 42" LG plasma there is no bad angle. It's a great picture from anywhere in the room.

I did a lot of research before deciding on this particular model; there was only one other I felt was close relative to the feature set/price point. I chose to go with 720p to save some money and relative to the size and viewing distance I knew it was a non-issue. I chose plasma since my usage will be mainly movies and the "blacks/contrast ratio/lack of motion artifacts" were key issues for me. Running it hard/daily for about 5 weeks and I have no regrets in my choice.

Comparing in the store it was down to 2 T.V's. We settled on the LG, the salesman was a real help!!! Now that it is home and setup we are extremely pleased with the quality of picture!!! So pleased infact we are going to purchase an LG 570 Blue-Ray player! We currently have a different brand Blue-Ray and DVD players.

This is my first venture into a big screen tv and boy was I impressed. This plasma tv has increased my vewing pleasure. The quality is awesome and the plug and play installation is so simple. I must say I have never owned a product that needed service so quickly. I brought the TV on July 31, 2010 and it stopped working, no picture , and no sound on August 22, 2010. I must add I am being kind, with the 22 days , because I brought the unit on July 31 and did not put it up for about a week later so really the unit worked less than that. This being my first LG product purchase, I must say I am very disappointed and I will not recommend LG to anyone and I am spreading the word far and wide about how this product worked and if they are thinking of buying a TV to strike LG from the list. I will say that I did like the picture the few days I got to see it . As I am typing this right now, I am waiting on a service rep to call me back and confirm a day and time for someone to come out and fixed this TV. Who would have thought less than 30 days out of the box and I am already waiting on a service guy to come look at this Unit. For the price I say pass this one by.

when my previous set started to act up,I contacted repair store. price to fix was high. he mentioned this model and it's sale price. I went to see model and was hooked. although it is my first LG product, I know their reputation for quality. Setup was simple,picture is stunning. Older movies on video look fabulous. I am very pleased with the purchase of my new 42" plasma. We own 32" lg lcd 720p which has worked great. We decided to place that one in my son's room and get the plasma for our bedroom, and it is great: great color, clarity, contrast, good sound. It looks just as good as 65" 1080p rear projection DLP. My husband mounted it on the wall, and it looks in word "sexy". It is really slim, as slim as an led tv but way more affordable. We have an HD direct tv reciever hooked up to it and all HD channels are broadcasted in 1080i, so the 720p is more than good enough to show all HD channels exceptionally, excellent detail. I think the dual engine and the 3 million to 1 contrast ratio have something to do with that. Go check it out in a store near you, and see it for yourself. You could spend more but not really get much more.
