The Brilliant2 Rota-Streak Filter is expertly designed to enhance bright lights and highlights within your scene, creating dynamic streaks that can be customized to any angle for static streaks. The rotating filter mount is a standout feature, allowing you to adjust the streak effect until you find the perfect angle. For those seeking a dynamic touch, the rotation can be motorized to produce rotating streak, star, and swirl effects.
This filter is designed to seamlessly fit into most professional 4x5.65" Matte Boxes. The Brilliant2 Rota-Streak Filters are meticulously constructed by mounting our 138mm Round Brilliant Streak filters in a geared rotating frame. This frame fits comfortably in 4x5.65 matte boxes using one stage in the matte box.
The secret to our streak filters lies in our unique manufacturing method. We laminate very small cylindrical rod lenses inside the glass filter. By adjusting the spacing of these rod lenses, a variety of streak effects can be achieved. Closer spacing creates a stronger effect, while wider spacing creates a subtler effect. The diamond pattern generates a star cross effect, and the swirls create stunning elliptical flares on specular light sources and highlights.
The Brilliant Streak Filters are available in seven types: 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 6mm, Diamond Star, Confetti, and Swirl. They come in six captivating colors: Clear, Blue, Yellow, Green, Pink, and Red. The Brilliant2 4x5.65/138 Rota Streak and 138mm Round Drop-In are the initial offerings, with 4x5.65" rectangular streaks following soon. Custom sizes can be made upon request, ensuring a versatile solution for all your photography needs.
