This innovative streak filter offers a fresh approach to in-camera effects, enabling you to create dynamic streaks, stars, and swirls with ease. Crafted by Lindsey Optics, the Brilliant Streak Filters are designed to add a touch of magic to bright lights and highlights in your scene. The unique feature of this filter is its ability to allow you to select any streak angle for static streaks, providing you with the flexibility to create the perfect shot. The filter's rotating mount further enhances its versatility, allowing you to adjust the streak effect to find the ideal angle. For more dynamic effects, you can even motorize the rotation to create rotating streaks, stars, and swirls. The Brilliant2 Rota-Streak Filters are designed to fit seamlessly into most professional 4x5.65" Matte Boxes. They are constructed by mounting our 138mm Round Brilliant Streak filters in a geared rotating frame that fits in 4x5.65 matte boxes using one stage in the matte box. Our streak filters are created using a unique manufacturing method that laminates very small cylindrical rod lenses inside the glass filter. This technique allows us to incorporate rod lenses with different spacing, enabling a variety of streak effects. The closer the spacing, the stronger the effect, while wider spacing creates a subtler effect. The diamond pattern of the filter creates a star cross effect, while the swirls produce stunning elliptical flares on specular light sources and highlights. The Brilliant Streak Filters are available in seven types: 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 6mm, Diamond Star, Confetti, and Swirl. They are also available in six vibrant colors: Clear, Blue, Yellow, Green, Pink, and Red. Initially, the Brilliant Streak Filters will be available in Brilliant 2 4x5.65/138 Rota Streak and 138mm Round Drop-In, with 4x5.65" rectangular streaks following in Q1 2019.
