Designed to enhance bright lights and highlights within a scene, the Brilliant2 Rota-Streak Filter allows you to select any streak angle for static streaks. The rotating filter mount provides the flexibility to adjust the streak effect, helping you find the perfect angle for your shot. For dynamic rotating streak, star, and swirl effects, the rotation can be motorized, adding an extra dimension to your photography.Constructed to fit seamlessly into most professional 4x5.65" Matte Boxes, the Brilliant2 Rota-Streak Filters are ingeniously designed. They feature our 138mm Round Brilliant Streak filters mounted in a geared rotating frame that fits into 4x5.65 matte boxes using one stage in the matte box. The secret to our streak filters lies in our unique manufacturing method. We laminate very small cylindrical rod lenses inside the glass filter. By adjusting the spacing of these rod lenses, a variety of streak effects can be achieved. Closer spacing results in a stronger effect, while wider spacing creates a subtler effect. The diamond pattern generates a star cross effect, and the swirls create stunning elliptical flares on specular light sources and highlights. The Brilliant2 Rota-Streak Filters are available in seven types: 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 6mm, Diamond Star, Confetti, and Swirl. They come in six vibrant colors: Clear, Blue, Yellow, Green, Pink, and Red. Initially available in Brilliant2 4x5.65/138 Rota Streak and 138mm Round Drop-In, the range was expanded in Q1 2019 to include 4x5.65" rectangular streaks.
