This innovative filter, designed by Lindsey Optics, transforms bright lights and highlights in your scene into captivating streaks. What sets this filter apart is its ability to allow you to select any streak angle for static streaks, giving you unparalleled control over your visual effects.

The filter's rotating mount adds another layer of versatility, enabling you to adjust the streak effect angle until you find the perfect fit for your scene. For even more dynamic visuals, you can motorize the rotation to create rotating streak, star, and swirl effects.

The Brilliant2 Rota-Streak Filters are designed to seamlessly fit into most professional 4x5.65" Matte Boxes. They are constructed by mounting our 138mm Round Brilliant Streak filters in a geared rotating frame that fits in 4x5.65 matte boxes using one stage in the matte box.

Our streak filters are crafted using a unique manufacturing method. We laminate very small cylindrical rod lenses inside the glass filter. By varying the spacing of these rod lenses, we can create a range of streak effects. Closer spacing results in a stronger effect, while wider spacing yields a subtler effect. The diamond pattern creates a star cross effect, and the swirls generate stunning elliptical flares on specular light sources and highlights.

The Brilliant Streak Filters are available in seven types: 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 6mm, Diamond Star, Confetti, and Swirl. You can also choose from six vibrant colors: Clear, Blue, Yellow, Green, Pink, and Red. Initially, the Brilliant Streak Filters will be available in Brilliant 2 4x5.65/138 Rota Streak and 138mm Round Drop-In, with 4x5.65" rectangular streaks following in Q1 2019. We can also create other sizes upon request.
