The Brilliant2 Rota-Streak Filter allows you to select any streak angle for static streaks, providing you with the flexibility to find the perfect angle for your desired streak effect. The filter's rotating mount feature further enhances this flexibility, enabling you to rotate the streak effect to achieve the ideal angle. For more dynamic effects, you can motorize the rotation to produce rotating streak, star, and swirl effects.

This filter is designed to fit seamlessly into most professional 4x5.65" Matte Boxes. The Brilliant2 Rota-Streak Filters are meticulously constructed by mounting our 138mm Round Brilliant Streak filters in a geared rotating frame, which fits into 4x5.65 matte boxes using one stage in the matte box.

The unique manufacturing method used to create our streak filters involves laminating very small cylindrical rod lenses inside the glass filter. This technique allows us to achieve a variety of streak effects by incorporating rod lenses with different spacing. A closer spacing results in a stronger effect, while a wider spacing produces a subtler effect. The diamond pattern creates a star cross effect, and the swirls generate stunning elliptical flares on specular light sources and highlights.

The Brilliant2 Rota-Streak Filters are available in seven types: 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 6mm, Diamond Star, Confetti, and Swirl. You can choose from six vibrant colors: Clear, Blue, Yellow, Green, Pink, and Red. Initially, the Brilliant Streak Filters will be available in Brilliant2 4x5.65/138 Rota Streak and 138mm Round Drop-In, with 4x5.65" rectangular streaks to follow in Q1 2019. Custom sizes can also be made upon request.
