The Brilliant2 Rota-Streak Filter is expertly designed to enhance bright lights and highlights within a scene, creating captivating streaks that can be adjusted to any angle for static effects. The rotating filter mount adds an extra layer of versatility, allowing you to rotate the streak effect to find the perfect angle. For dynamic rotating streak, star, and swirl effects, the rotation can be motorized. Constructed to fit seamlessly into most professional 4x5.65" Matte Boxes, the Brilliant2 Rota-Streak Filters are assembled by mounting our 138mm Round Brilliant Streak filters in a geared rotating frame. This frame fits into 4x5.65 matte boxes using one stage in the matte box, ensuring a secure and stable fit. Our streak filters are crafted using a unique manufacturing method that laminates tiny cylindrical rod lenses inside the glass filter. By adjusting the spacing of these rod lenses, a variety of streak effects can be achieved. Closer spacing results in a stronger effect, while wider spacing produces a subtler effect. The diamond pattern generates a star cross effect, and the swirls create stunning elliptical flares on specular light sources and highlights. The Brilliant2 Rota-Streak Filters are available in seven types: 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 6mm, Diamond Star, Confetti, and Swirl. You can choose from six vibrant colors: Clear, Blue, Yellow, Green, Pink, and Red. The filters are initially available in Brilliant2 4x5.65/138 Rota Streak and 138mm Round Drop-In, with 4x5.65" rectangular streaks following soon. Custom sizes can also be crafted upon request.
