Usexpensive and useless
I bought it in Canada 2 years ago.
It has been used maybe 5 times in the entire time. The on/off works only now.
I love my LG TV and my fridge.
I got extra warranty from Futureshop but the stores are closed now.

THIS PRODUCT IS A PIECE OF JUNK
This product came with my television and I've had to replace it twice in two years. LG has discontinued it. I t should have never been put on the market in the first place.

Great concept! Lackluster execution.
This remote captures an innovative idea: taking off nearly all of those pesky buttons on a remote and allowing the user to operate tv functions via a point-and-click menu. The remote is slim, lightweight, and fits well in my hand. However, the remote cursor seems to be a bit finicky. As I move the cursor off screen, as I motion back in the direction of the screen the cursor will capture my motion and react, regardless of if I'm pointing at the screen. In other words, the remote does well at capturing motion, but should combine that with a sensor that recognizes where the screen is and allows me to actually point at an object and have the cursor reflect where I am pointing (like a Wii remote. The remote allows you to reset your cursor's location to the center of the screen, but it is a hassle to have to constantly be resetting. Perhaps planting a sensor (similar to that of the Wii) internally in the television, or mounting a sensor externally on the television, would allow the remote to be more user-friendly.
This is still a cool product, and fun to play around with. I especially like having a remote that I don't have to worry about accidentally sitting on it and changing the channel or switching the dialect to Spanish (the remote has a sleep mode and shuts down after a certain amount of non-use). I recommend this product, but only if you can get it at an incredibly reasonable price. I got my remote free with the purchase of an LG Smart TV!

needs work
work fine at first then stop working,got a replacement and after 2 months again not working well.
