We thoroughly enjoy our LG Smart TV. The only problem, I wish we were as smart as it is. Sometimes, it takes a while for both of us to understand a feature but since we are past mid-seventies I guess that is understandable. I only wish Netflix were voice activated.

I purchased this remote as a replacement. It works just as well as the original remote that came with the Television. I love how the magic remote controls the television by motion and as a pointer. It was easy to register with the television set and I have had no issues with it. It's very different than the average remote and it was worth the price!

You shake it to start it. That was new to me, but easy to learn. I bought a second remote so one is at both ends of the couch and so in a few more years if first remote quits and I can't locate a replacement I still have a second remote to keep using with TV.

If you have one of the LG Smart TV's that uses this type of remote, I highly recommend the Magic Remote. I think that should be included with the TV since once you use it with the smart features, you'll absolutely think this is a necessity. I'd love to see this work with some sort of internet tv (to replace cable). This screams Ease of Use!

I'm a little disappointed in the lack of controls on this remote compared to the standard remote... Which, for me, definitely makes this in no way a replacement for the standard remote, but an addition to. The action of this remote is a bit hard to control, and sometimes a bit erratic. Best thing about this remote is when you have to enter info from a keyboard, like doing a google search. So much quicker than using the directional arrows on the standard remote.

The Magic Remote does everything advertised. Much easier to use the keyboard on the screen with the point and click feature. Also, the point and sweep feature is user friendly.

The product is fine and does what it says, although the necessary waving of the device to get the pointer to display is a bit much. Somewhat awkward to use. In spite of this, I purchased a second Magic remote to be used in a different part of the room. However, after I went to register it on the TV, the original remote became inoperative. I was told only one remote can be registered on a TV at one time. Great. What design work. Would LG please make a firmware update to the software to allow more than one remote to be used on the same TV?

Was very easy to install. Worked immediately after hook up. Fits great in my hand. Self explanatory controls. However, my biggest complaint about this remote is you cannot switch inputs. I am a gamer, and do several things with my computer on my tv, and to switch inputs is a pain in the butt. Could have adapted that feature in somehow. Other than this, it's a great remote.

The smart remote practicaly sets itself up. It intuitively looks for anything that is connected to your tv, and it is a must have when trying to search the internet. It's so good that it should come with every smart TV!

It is a an over COOL remote but its difficult to select letters in a timely manner when searching for things and its really not dialed in to well. work the kinks out and it could be a good remote.

It works as advertized, I can't believe how good the voice recognition works. The only down side is the battery life issue, other than that it's a five star all the way.

The magic remote is slick and a decent size. It work great as a mouse. Other than that, I think the free remote from app store works just fine. To control the tv feature, it pulls out an on screen virtual remote. Then i will have to use magic remote as a mouse to click on each number or feature. The magic remote doesnt work with the cisco verizon fios tv box i have. So, it is just sitting there collecting dust. I now own a Logitech Harmony and i like it.

This is a great remote, it makes it much easier to use the smart functions on the TV. I have Comcast/Xfinity and it works all of the functions on the cable box with the dvr and it also controls the LG sound bar. We are very happy with the LG Magic Motion remote. We went from three remotes to one. Recommend this remote to anyone who wants to simplify and get a better experience with your TV.
