I’ve had this system since it has came out.. still works this day.. trying to find a replacement now... I mean it still works just the sound gets really low now during parts of shows and comes back... apps half azz work... and have trouble getting blue ray to play.. but it will with a couple of try’s.. that’s been a problem since I bought it lol... other then that been good.. now can someone point me in direction of buying just the DVD player? Or maybe see about getting this one fixed on sound part

If you downsized as I have from a large home with a dedicated room for a home theater to a townhouse then this HTS is the perfect mate for your big screen. In my case that is a the LG PB606650. This system fills my 16 *17 living room with crisp bright sound and was a snap to setup. I wall mounted the speakers using universal mounts and set the levels using the simple yet adequate on screen menu option. The system handles movies and music more than admirably. I tested several other HTS before deciding on the BH6830SW and found nothing that performed like it does.

LG is one of my top favorite brands when talking about electronics. I have always found there products to be of great quality and use. However this product has aggravated me many, many days. I constantly have problems with the system freezing up when playing blu ray disc or DVD and have to unplug power source and start over and I mainly use it for internet streaming tv. Netflix works well but Huluplus always has streaming problems on it. sound is great and I believe it offers a lot, but I am disappointed at the complications I deal with. Especially from a high end product.

We really enjoy the surround sound, it goes great with our LG 3D Smart Tv. The only complaint I have is when you first turn on the system there is no sound for the first 10 seconds until the unit siyncs up with the TV.

Easy to use and great sound but very laggy switching thru features Netflix takes forever to load if at all and bluray is slow loading also. Great idea but needs faster smoother interface

two peas I have with this system is 1 the remote has a hard time finding the machine at times you have to get up and be pointed and facing the machine at times even with new batteries not the factory ones 2) the door on the machine has to be manually closed it came that way the first time I used it and pressed open to insert a DVD the spring on the outside door not the DVD tray just don't close other than those two things this is an awesome inexpensive 3d bluray DVD with wireless rear speakers. (now the speakers still have to be hooked up with wires to a box that plugs into the wall that will receive the wireless signal, so really they aren't but they are separated from the machine with no wires okay) it still is a cool and matches my lg tv nicely and links up so I don't have to change a input when watching a DVD and I can choose between tv or dvd speakers that's nice also cause some people of the older gen don't like my loud theater sound lol

This is actually my second blueray player from LG. But I also have a LG 36" high definition TV and another home entertainment system that has a CD player with radio tuner. I wish this one had that as well, but I love LG product.

For the money you pay for this product, I am not impressed. The cd manual was very confusing. I have already had issues with Blu-ray Discs freezing and unable to connect to Netflix when I am capable on other devices. I think the sound could be better for the price.

I have done a lot of research on Home Theatre systems and this one fit all my criteria. The sound from the speakers is simply phenomenal! Who would think that such rich sounds could come from such small speakers! This LG system will blow you away! It's so great that I could get rid of my stereo and DVD player. This neat little package includes them all and then some! Still exploring all the features. LG does it again! A fantastic product and great value.

With all of the features pack into this little machine there was a bit of a learning curve. The highs and mids are extremely clear. The only thing I wish it had was a bit more bass or an independently powered sub... Past that I would give it a 9 out of 10.. I use it in my bedroom and for movies it works great.

Love this system was easy to set up. Works well with my LG plasma. Only problem is NERO wants more money to make all the features work. Like playing your music playlist from your computer to the system. Kind of makes me mad. Other than that overall great system.

The sound quality is just phenomenal!! The wireless rear surround works well, and is nice not to have to run wires all over. I use the optical out of my digital cable receiver so I can use them while watching HDTV. 3D-BlueRay, great sound, all you need to complete the set-up is a plasma HDTV.

We bought this to replace our old surround system. Love the wireless feature because I did not like all the wires with the last one. Great quality with picture and sound. Use it on a daily basis, so I am glad that it is easy to use.

This was a gift and therefore I have no idea if it is a good value. I like the sound. Claiming that the rear speakers are wireless is very deceptive as they are WIRED to a separate wireless controller. Also very upset that I cannot access Amazon Instant Video. The "pay for video" services that it will let you access are a little on the pricey side. Some of LG systems will let you access Amazon but this one won't.

This system is a great plug and play system and the wireless rear option is soooooo nice I don't have to run wires from the far est to make my system sound good. The sound is good compared to other systems.

This is a good system for the money. A couple of things i wish it had are more HDMI ports, AM Frequency and a 5 disc carousel. The remote is sluggish but overall a really good system.

I originally bought another brand 3D Blu-Ray Home Theater system but had immediate issues with some discs not playing correctly. After repeated attempts to get support to no avail, I took it back and decided to get the BH6830SW. I love it! First off, it has AMAZING sound and great features with a stylish look. I've played every 3D movie I own and haven't had a single issue with any of them. Plus the wireless rear speakers, which were so easy to set up, mean no wires running across the room. The built-in wifi works great with a strong connection every time. I love the apps and streaming capabilities. All in all, a great home theater system that goes great along with my LG 42" 3D TV. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone .

Sometimes when watching a DVD the sound gets off track. I have to put the movie in reverse to get it back on track. Plus it hangs up sometimes in the Home page. The sound is great and it's easy to set up.

The initial setup was frustrating at best including the wireless speakers! Frustrating on hooking up several devices. I.E. TV, computer, XBOX etc.... Be sure to purchase the digital optical cable due to it not coming with one. I found the remote to be sluggish when trying to change the input from one device to the other. It is a roll of the dice so to speak when changing from each device to another as mentioned above. It keeps wanting to change to the LG screen each time! AARRGH!
