Ive had this unit for a few years now. It' was easy to set up when I first got it. Everything was working great. But for some reason, Im unable to get the Bluetooth to work at all anymore. It just tells me Error and gives me a MAC Address for it as 00:00:00:00:00 and Im unable to fix it. I also have been having troubles geting a new update software onto the device itself too. The Youtube App wants to keep kicking me out and not working right at al. This is not fun to deal with.

I browsed extensively through reviews. After I bought the product via an internetshop. It was easy to set up, basically hassle free. It has more features than i expected, so i am very happy with it. There is only one thing missing, i cant get a player for amazon prime,similar to the netflix app

owned for approx. 3 yrs, Sound is good, but unit freezes and remote freezes too. built in wifi card has packed in so no longer connects to the internet!

I've had this equipment for about two years and when it works its great but there are too many times it just freezes and had to reboot or unplug and wait a minute and plug back in. The last time the sound would come through but no picture. So it sits there unplugged and am looking for a replacement. I've updated recently and tried it again. Same thing it worked for a couple days and then just stopped. I'm going to select yes on sweepstakes but that is because this site wont let me post my review unless I do but I don't want to win, give it to someone else.

I have to say that the sound is great from this system. But there are problems with the system also. The system will freeze while playing a movie, Blue-ray's and DVD's. The system will also freeze while just using the speakers. When this happens the remote and the buttons on the main unit will not work, the only thing you can do is unplug it from the power source and plug it back in. It has gotten so bad that I have bought a different Blue-ray player and I'm looking for a different speaker system.

The stand-out feature is 9.1-channel surround sound, which expands the stage vertically using those upward-firing drivers in the speakers. The idea is to replicate the acoustics of a concert hall or cinema. It’s backed up by 3D Sound Zooming, designed to match the ‘movement’ of 3D images – so if something’s coming towards you, the audio should do the same. The BH9430PW is also DLNA certified, and through its SmartShare feature you can stream music, video and photos from PCs, smartphones and other networked devices. Top Sound Quality. But... 1) When it takes 10 mins to get the sound on the Speakers, Playing from USB/Disk always plays the sound though TV first. 2) Doesn't play my .ac3 files. Beware.

Connects easily with rear wireless speakers. Bass is deep. Love the Bluetooth option. Wish it had 1/8" audio input. Sometimes needs to be unplugged to reset, but it's been good to me. Had it for about 7 months.

This unit was bought to replace a previous LG home theater system. When I sent it back to LG for repairs the parts weren't available at the time, so LG gave me a full refund including shipping cost even though the unit was over 2 years beyond the warranty period. I will continue to use LG products in the future.

I haven't use all of the features of this system yet, I have order a 3d LG smart tv and it haven't made it in yet so I can't use the 3d yet, but the sound and some other features I have use I really do like. But the speakers holders is light weight, for the money I think they should make that a little better material. But the sound and features is really good if you use optical or hdmi cable. This is the best surround sound that I invested into I hope it last a long time and the tv.

WARNING NOT FOR A SMALL ROOM ! I Bought this system a month ago on sale. If your looking for a Great system for a large room this is the one . Sound Is awesome . Works Great with Direct-tv blue ray will blow u away cons freezes up on some apps from time to time Wish the browser supported Flash Player. Some wireless keyboard mouse make the Speakers pop. I bought it for the surround sound and blue ray so the cons are not that important to me. 2nd update came out today so maybe they fixed the cons. keep up the good work LG

First I want to say my husband and I love this system. For an out of the box home theater system this ranks high marks! The only thing that bothers me is that I would prefer a lighter color, like white or beige, too much black and very noticeable against light walls. The reviewer below that gave it one star because it freezes up, blames LG but it is more than likely his/her internet provider. If your internet is slow then the system is not going to respond like it should when using Apps etc. I have only used this system 1 1/2 months so will see how it holds up.

I purchased these about a month ago and so far I am loving them. The sound is great and I need to watch out when I turn up the volume so I do not disturb my neighbors. The only part I do not like is the slot for the video disc. It is to concealed and is hard to find. Other than that, this is a great system and goes perfectly with the 65 Inch LG 3d tv I have.

I've owned this for 6 months now. Even after two firmware updates, it will lock up occasionally. Functions become non-responsive. When this happens, even pressing Power takes about a minute or more to respond. After powering back up, everything works fine. This is my main gripe and the reason why I did not recommend this product. Sound quality is very good. Wireless rear speakers is a major plus and a must for me.

This is a good system, but I feel that being the "top of the line LG System", it's lacking several things, and there are a few things that make it a bit difficult to use. First thing lacking would be the apps that are available. Where is Amazon Streaming? It seems LG updates the oldest models first when releasing the Amazon app, which isn't real motivation to buy their latest and greatest! If I would have realized I'd be waiting this long for the Amazon update, I would have went with an older system and saved several hundred dollars! My biggest issue, one that makes the system sometimes a pain to use, is how changing of inputs is setup. I have this unit paired with an LG 3D Tv, and I use a harmony remote. When turning on my "Watch TV" activity, half the time I have to reset everything because theres no easy way to switch between inputs easily. Definately not an issue with my old soundbar system. LG should really concentrate on the new products and get those perfected before updating and changing older models, in my opinion.

I got this as a birthday present from my boyfriend. It is a wonderful system that makes me feel like I am at the movies. I can't even turn it up half way it is so strong and loud it blows me out of the room. Just amazing sound quality and video. Hooking it up took a moment or two and still haven't gotten it to work on the TV yet but DVD works great. May have something to do with my cable box. Not sure yet. Did have a problem with tracking but I think that was the DVD from Redbox. Haven't used it enough to know if it is the machine itself. Overall, very happy with product.

I needed to replace my old HT system and looking around, I found great reviews for this system (and, besides, I've been very happy with the quality of the LG brand for the past few years). Setting it up was really easy and I really like the features that it has to offer. I paired it with a 3D LG TV and I'm very glad with this setup.
